TMZ has the video of the police chase and stop. It is very very very bad for Cyle.

He is going to get more than a slap on the wrist for driving on the wrong side. He might get the book at him.
That video... if he plays in the Gold Cup, shows a drunk driver feels he can get away with it based on his standing within the team. Larin says he gets off because of the team he plays for.
In essence, they have to make an example of him because he asked for the line to be drawn around him due to his status.

Oh man, that video could make him a pariah. It looks like the CPL has its first star.
And nary a peep from MLS.
<edit: Oh, now there is something that's buried under the banners about statements from MLS and Orlando City.>

He blew a .179 on the first test, and a .182 on the second. Both of those are over twice the legal limit.
I don't care how good of a soccer player he is, or how valuable he is the CMNT, etc.
I've just lost all respect for him. Drinking and driving is up there with Murder & Rape. It's not "mistake" or an "accident".

Would it impact a transfer overseas? Not sure it does. Firmino was arrested for drink driving and didn't seem to effect him in any way. (Not that Larin is a Firmino.....just not sure if it really matters).
I just dug this up, so wanted to save others the trouble.

Not good, not good at all.
Road Games:
2013 - Montréal , 2014 - Orlando (Disney Classic), Montréal
2015 - Columbus, New England, Montréal
2016 - NYCFC (Leg 2 Conference Semis), Montréal (Leg 1 Conference Final)
2017 - Ottawa (Leg 1 Canadian Championship Semi), DCU, Red Bulls (Leg 1 Conference Final), Columbus (Leg 2 Conference Final)
2019 - Montréal, NYCFC (Eastern Conference Semi @ Citi Field), Seattle (MLS Cup Final)
What a complete idiot.
The only good thing about that is its not being covered up and is being looked into and people have been charged. When people turn a blind eye, it becomes systemic, and the stories out of the UK about systemic abuse issues at teams have been horrifying.
I think I'm going to find a ball to kick around just so I can feel better about soccer right now.
Orlando should cut bait and sell however that might actually be impossible now considering how serious of a charge he is going to get.
I'm surprised MLS hasn't written about Ronaldo yet
The hits keep coming...

We must remind ourselves, that professional athletes make the same decisions we do...mostly for better, yet at times unfortunately for worse.
Holy crap, I just realized we have no home games scheduled, after next Tuesday June 27 VC game vs. Montreal, until July 22nd home vs. Colorado.
FWIW, Matt Doyle predicts that Morrow will make the U.S. Gold Cup squad, with Bradley and Altidore only joining after the group stage.

Why drag Wesley's name through the mud?

Silly season in Europe. Lots of old dudes will be linked with China or MLS.
Argo's GM, Jim Popp, was on the Fan 590 last night and said his son just signed with the TFC academy. Apparantly, he has been courted by all of the top Division 1 schools, however, decided he wants to play in MLS. The kid has dual citizenship.
If he makes the team, is the sign still going up?
Armando Cooper selected for Panama's Gold Cup squad. Maybe he can use the tournament to get back into form for us.
So how many players are we losing to the Gold Cup? I heard it was 7, the most in MLS.
We might not lose Bradley until after the group stage, according to Matt Doyle. Still not pretty, though.
