He's homegrown in the sense that he came up through L10 & TFC II but he doesn't appear to have been given a HG deal just a regular first team deal. Why? I don't know but i'd wager it's the same reason that Mo doesn't have the HG designation.

Mo Babouli IS a homegrown player because he played with TFC (1 year I believe) before attending Sherridan College.
Raheem isn't because he attended Sherridan college prior to joining the Toronto FC system.

The roster list on the Toronto homepage doesn't make sense, considering JHam, Ashtone, and Chappers are all HGs, but aren't listed as one. (http://www.torontofc.ca/players)

Here is the list of current players on actual homegrown contracts, neither Mo and Raheem are on one. I assume they simply did not meet the threshold on the amount of time they had in the academy.

    Mo and Camargo are injured.

Mo has been back in Toronto rehabbing while the rest of the team was down in Florida. Some Journo mentioned that Camargo was dealing with a knock before the Chicago game last weekend.

I suspect Spencer is going to sign when they need him. Endoh was nursing a contusion a week ago.

Is there a journo with the team that could ask who traveled? I know Laura Armstrong is there but Larson and Molinaro haven't done this trip.

Tough competition again this year. Forget starting, just making the subs bench is getting testy.

Also with McCrary signing for TFCII, does that mean Oyvind Alseth gets a senior team deal as the backup RB?

The wording was he was being watched for a possible concussion so probably it was just something else.

Alseth - a 3rd round pick getting an MLS deal out of preseason. Basically unheard of. Hopefully we uncovered a diamond in the rough here.

If Brunell can be a serviceable Nick Hagglund level sub who occasionally starts, that's good enough.

He's a left footed CB. He and Simonin were competing for this contract.
