Toronto's Little Liechtenstein community will be happy: http://www.thehammer.ca/content/site...-liechtenstein
I'm surprised we have the budget room to fit a European international, I know its only Liechtenstein but still, its an EU player with over 40 international appearances and named as the Liechtensteiner Footballer of the Year in 2015.
I like his pedigree, a lot of games in the Swiss league and many international appearances.
The best part is this came out of nowhere and relatively fast, we must finally have a fully functioning scouting department after all those years of Mo scouting trips/Mariner YouTube scouting.

One more flag to add to our collection.
There's something funny about signing a guy from a country the size of Bowmanville,
but welcome aboard Nicolas.
This airport guy was better than the old Rollerblade guy, what a scoop this was!
And Hasler hasn't even played in a friendly or international game at BMO Field before! (Our other previous key scouting avenue... Plus don't forget Wikipedia...)
Mostly I'm happy we finally have a player from Liechtenstein. I mean, we already had a Latvian player, Liechtenstein was a pretty big gap in our roster.

I still got PTSD from Jonas Elmer.
I wonder how did Bez ended up scouting Hasler?
Google searched best RWB > Steven Lichtsteiner > too expensive > google:do you mean Liechtenstein? > Liechtenstein national football team > Nicolas Hasler > profit?
Hopefully he'll do well under the system though, now Alseth and Beita might have competition. I wonder what happened to Raul?
It's been a damn while since Bez has missed on a player signing or move, I'm optimistic.
Ban news = this is probably an indication Beta could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Good News = the speed with which we've moved to secure (what appears to be ) a decent replacement.
Like most I have no idea about the quality of the guy. His number of International caps is impressive albeit his homeland aren't exactly International giants, it does point to consistency. Hopefully he can go on and shine for us, be an able deputy for Beta in the short term and provide competition for the spot in the long run
Welcome to Toronto Nicolas!!!
His team was relegated at the end of this season, so I'm guessing that he's too expensive for them now and we got him for a relative bargain. Still, you get what you pay for, so I'm curious to see his quality.
<Edit: His country is half the population of Bermuda. I hope he isn't another Reggie Lambe or Freddy Hall...>

The Score has just reported that both Bez and Vanny have signed multi-year extensions to their contracts with TFC.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Thanks.

^Thats really not good. Cheyrou has been undercover out best player not in our normal starting XI. This now puts more pressure on Bradley to start week in and out.
I was saying to my seatmate, I was really worried about injuries during the last game. Colorado was hacking and harassing from the first whistle, incl. some really ridiculous off-the-ball stuff, with hardly any repercussions from the officials. Our players started giving it back, incl. Cheyrou. Sad but not surprised that we finished with a serious injury.
Something struck me today in a by and large puff piece on Delgado. https://www.torontofc.ca/playerprofile/marky-delgado
This bit amazes me that professionals at this level are able to accept that just because they were starting doesn't mean they will continue to do so. These are all Alpha Males. We will likely continue to see good players like Johnson leave due to not getting playing time. And...I'm Ok with that as long as the team is subtracting to get better.“As a player, you can never be too comfortable,” he says. “In a team like this, someone can always come and take your spot. I’ve really been keying in on being more consistent and figuring out what I can do to be more consistent and help the team.
Road Games:
2013 - Montréal , 2014 - Orlando (Disney Classic), Montréal
2015 - Columbus, New England, Montréal
2016 - NYCFC (Leg 2 Conference Semis), Montréal (Leg 1 Conference Final)
2017 - Ottawa (Leg 1 Canadian Championship Semi), DCU, Red Bulls (Leg 1 Conference Final), Columbus (Leg 2 Conference Final)
2019 - Montréal, NYCFC (Eastern Conference Semi @ Citi Field), Seattle (MLS Cup Final)
It begins....

No chance he leaves, unless he wins multiple cups here IMO...
LA probably doesn't want to give up the assets and take on his salary
- MLSE is money wise more well off then LAFC
- there are quotes like this from the first few days of Bradley at Swansea.
- If Bradley wants to go, he'll go regardless of the price
- nothing at this point indicates he wants to go anywhere
- As Bez says, people want our players and others want to talk about our players being wanted - nature of the business
The speculation is unsurprising considering the obvious connection there. There was a time when I thought TFC might have been considering moving Bradley of their own will, but that time is long gone.
Much like Giovinco, he will only move if he decides that's what he wants.
