I originally thought Leiweke was "warehousing" Bradley for the league, and that he would be moved to Chicago or something after a year.
It would be good for the league if MB played in a big US market.
It's all about what Bradley wants.

Why is Bob here anyway? He cant land another tier 2 league job? I think its a mistake for him to come back to MLS.
In any case I think the chances of him going have increased, I do however think he will run his contract out with us, but afterwards I think there is a very high chance he goes for LAFC.
I do think the odds are that Bradley might ultimately want to live in LA, and that the ancillary rewards (broadcasting gigs etc) are quite interesting.
I'm sure he loves it here, but objectively, I can't imagine how we can compete, on a basic level. Soccer aside, of course.

Not everybody likes LA. Twellman does all his stuff out of Boston while most ESPN staff are in Connecticut. And my understanding is Michael Bradley wants to coach. TV isn't his thing.
With all due respect to our Captain but anyone that has watched him in an interview can see that broadcasting would not be the best decision for him. He is very articulate but he often stops to choose his words carefully which, in order to be a successful broadcaster, you need to be much more fluid in. Do I think he will leave? It is a possibility. He will do what he thinks is best for him and his family. He has stated on numerous occasions that he loves the city and loves being here. I wouldn't be surprised if LAFC put in an offer over the winter. Would it be enough to pry him away? We just have to wait and see.
I don't think LAFC would use up a DP spot on him. And I don't think he'd take less than DP money to go there. LAFC has to come out of the gates guns blazing or they don't stand a chance. With the Galaxy sucking like they are now, there is a chance to pick up new fans. They have to make a splash, which means big names - possibly Pirlo-esque players slightly beyond their prime to get fans in the door. If they don't do this, they won't fill seats after year 1 and they won't be able to pay the big contracts - and we will have Chivas 2.0.
My 2cents.
Road Games:
2013 - Montréal , 2014 - Orlando (Disney Classic), Montréal
2015 - Columbus, New England, Montréal
2016 - NYCFC (Leg 2 Conference Semis), Montréal (Leg 1 Conference Final)
2017 - Ottawa (Leg 1 Canadian Championship Semi), DCU, Red Bulls (Leg 1 Conference Final), Columbus (Leg 2 Conference Final)
2019 - Montréal, NYCFC (Eastern Conference Semi @ Citi Field), Seattle (MLS Cup Final)
I feel as though LAFC will go along the lines of Atlanta but only use 2 DP slots next year (on two forwards, maybe an attacking MID, ala Atlanta) and fill in the rest with regular MLSers pushed out by numbers game at other clubs (Larentowicz is the example for Atlanta).
If anyone leave from our roster I'd put my chips on Delgado, Cooper, Osorio.
May be move for Irwin as their goalkeeper afterwards?
And of course sign Ibramovich as one of their first DPs lol

It always amazes me that people are always looking at Michael to join his father's team. I always think that maybe a player wouldn't want to play for his father. There's always questions of nepotism and stuff (ie, in the NBA, Austin Rivers plays for the team his dad coaches) and maybe the player would want to prove his own merit rather than having that as a constant never-ending distraction.
Well, I wouldn't jump to any conclusion just based on that quote. Anyone would know that anything short of a flat denial, and all hell would break loose.
I hope Michael stays but have always assumed that all the DPs have good options.

Giovinco is going to move on eventually... either at the end of this season or next. Which sucks, but is inevitable.
Who can you speculate would be a good replacement for him, for the future? The player needs to be an internationally known star and score a ton of goals. But the sad truth is that..... The individual brilliance that Seba brings is just so unique. On top of winning games for us, he's just so much damn fun to watch.../and Bez has stated that that is an important component for this DP slot (gave Zlatan as an example).

Transfer window closes today.
Rumours from some English soccer writer links Gareth Barry to TFC, Caps and Chicago. 36, played most of last season for Everton, but not in Koeman's plans this season. (Bc Everton made a boatload of new signings.) Played in Toronto before in a friendly while with Aston Villa.
A half season rental for injured Cheyrou?

With that apparent 2M of extra allocation money coming in next season because of the new addidas deal, who would u like to see TFC sign or what position? With Benoit Cheyrou possibly retiring, I hope we can get someone like him, who holds possession really well and is a class passer. I actually think Atiba Hutchison fits that bill a bit. The only thing I will miss, is Cheyrou's ability to walk guys with ease. So smooth.
A lot of people think Hutchinson is done at this point. Regardless, I wouldn't step in to that at this juncture.
Find the younger version of Cheryrou....

Moor is great. Turning 34 in January tho. Hopefully the $$$ is reasonable.
Interesting. Apparently we made an offer for Atiba?

That's who I think will make the most sense for us. We are probably going to lose Benoit Cheyrou at the end of the season, and Atiba has a lot of traits he has. Doesn't dribble as well, but is much more mobile and keeps possession very well. He could bump Delgado out of the lineup. Would make us even stronger imo
Don't think Bez is going to sell off anybody to get a backup, a guy who will maybe last 2 seasons. We don't need him that bad.
