I saw this tweet and was left to wonder how Vanney has this timeline when Moor hasn't even been checked out by a cardiologist yet.

Hahaha that's jokes. He don't need no cardiologist.

I would imagine his pro soccer aspirations are done by this signing, probably going back to school, the Woodbridge coach also coaches York University so most likely that is the road he is taking, probably did not have it in him to try and continue to try and make it as a pro any longer and decided to still play but not at a serious level anymore.

Roberts may be waiting for CPL

    League 1 is hopefully temporary

He was number 1 back up not too long ago. Backup in mls is better than starting league 1

Me too. It'll be two and half weeks till they have a serious prognosis i'd wager.

Babuli would be a prime target for a CPL franchise

Yeah, as I said before he's pretty much the ideal CPL player.

I wish him well, he has talent but unfortunately just couldn't quite make a regular impact at this level.

The joy of limited characters. I would presume that this is not the first visit to the cardiologist. Probably a follow up appointment for clearance purposes.

Last year I said Mo babouli would be our Jamie Vardy.

I was clearly in a very dark place at the time.

Think Mo'll become a party rep in Ibiza now?

I don't think his career is a complete write off but it will be an uphill battle to get back to MLS from here, for sure. Shame he wasn't able to make more of that string of games last year. It's a brutal business.

You can already see this year with Edwards how quickly he has caught on... that's the business sometimes - opportunities are fleeting.

Wish Mo well wherever he lands next.

The problem with Mo was always going to be that he has great physical ability, but his skill level and technical ability did not and will probably never match. Mo was given many opportunities last year but could never lock his place in the 18. Flashes of promise here and there but ultimately you can't keep someone around for the 5 solid minutes you may get out of them per game. As ag said, that's the business. Canadian or not.

I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop now with Ashton Morgan getting waived. We need missing signs posted because you wouldn't notice him the last 3 years that he is a TFC player.

I don't see Mo trying to make a go with it with either other MLS teams or USL or NASL or even in any other leagues in the world. This is a guy who had already given up on a soccer career and was playing college soccer for Sheridan College before TFC, probably might play League 1 Ontario and join the workforce like the rest of us.

When we saw Mo Babouli for the first time, we thought he had the potential to develop into the type of player Raheem Edwards already is. Unfortunately, Mo had some great tricks but didn't show much growth in his hunger and athleticism. Raheem if he stays focused and keeps getting stronger and faster, improving his shot-taking, can develop into a star in this league.

Gotta say the first time I saw Raheem the Dream play I said he lacked defensively, the next two games he fixed that, my next comment was that he needs to take more shots, what did he do this game? Start shooting. I love that he can play fullback, I don't want that to stop. I'd also love to see him at striker or as a winger and I hope he's flexible enough to do them all

Morgan's been dealing with so many injuries. It's hard to know what he is capable of. I expect that Vanney will give him time to prove himself.

Was looking at the MLS rosters page for TFC to double check that Edwards wasn't a Homegrown Player (which I find kind of silly but whatever) and it looks like Brandon Aubrey was permanently loaned to USL for the season (he's listed under Unavailable Players: Loaned to USL). Not terribly surprised by that.

^ I think that's a useful piece potentially. Outright speed to stretch the field on the right side.

That said, if we were to change things there are probably more pressing needs.

The only areas I see us weak is with backup centre-back (when Drew Moor is injured) and starting box-to-box midfielder (Cooper-Osorio).

I would be shocked if he did. I would think he would probably see minutes on Wednesday vs Orlando. With how Larin is playing we could really use Moor back in that one.

Late response but isn't it the Vaughan coach who coaches York University? Or do they both coach the team together?

Speaking of Vaughan, I noticed that Chris Mannella is on the roster for them this season
