Not sure I like it, but better than I expected.

I was thinking we would have a clone of the new LA Galaxy away jersey...in red.

Same template as the current Chelsea away shirt: http://www.chelseamegastore.com/stor...kit-2016-17/63

The 16/17 training shirt on the mlsstore.com site caught my eye. Same collar cut but all red, black adidas logo, and TFC crest but no BMO. $55 USD.

The new shirt not on the site yet.

Black kit should be for champions league matches or alt in general

Sorry if this wrong thread but was at Adidas outlet in mississauga, was hoping for a discount last year when another user hooked us up. Last year red jersey and white regular were regular price +25%. Not really a deal

As part of his address, Manning announced the renewal of long-standing partner, BMO. BMO, the club’s first-ever partner has been a valued supporter of Toronto FC since its inaugural season in 2007. Starting as the team’s first kit partner, the partnership now includes sponsorship of the First Team kit, training kit and all practice and travel attire. The partnership continues BMO’s investment and commitment to the growth of soccer in Canada through sponsorship of TFC2, TFC3 and all TFC Academy teams.
I wonder what the yearly amount is based on the extensive upgraded package.

don't love it right now, but could've been worse....

at least they didn't do what been coming up on lots of Adidas shirts lately with the back a different colour than the front......that would've been the deal breaker for me...

I'll probably end up getting one, because I want Giovinco to sign the lettered one I have from the last 2 years.....once my jerseys get signed, they're retired from wearing.....

I like it but at $129 for the men's jersey, I'll stick with a t-shirt.

That is the first long sleeve that has appealed to me for a long time.

Ordered the long sleeved one. Noticed some nice tee shirts on the mls shop website, but decided to go for this. Hope it looks as good in person....

I really like it. At first I was a little ho-hum on the overall design, but it's really grown on me the more I look at it. I think I would still prefer the hoops as a solid colour, not the scratchy, squiggly ones you see. The cold weather version with long sleeves looks amazing, though.

To be fair this is cheaper than the cost of kits in England in the 90s, taking into consideration the exchange rate at the time. Seeing Sunderland kits for over 100£ in '97 as a teenager was depressing. Visited fam over there and wanted to grab one but not at that ridiculous price. Now this TFC kit is way better than any from back then and I'll pay for it.

Looking at the preorder now. They should have provided a way for season ticket holders to get their 15% discount as a preorder. I would never buy anything at full price.

I don't remember football shirts ever being over 60 quid? Must have been the cost of shipping them that far north!

I'll admit, even though I was unimpressed with the first pics,
That long sleeve image has me interested.

Anyone know if signing up for Real Sports Apparel newsletter for the 10% off your next purchase will stack with the 15% STH discount?

I agree. Our kits are not that expensive when compared to some other leagues. My team in Japan releases a new home and away every season and they are about 18,000yen ($200 can).
$150 for a kit with a name on it is reasonable in my mind.

It's not really so much that Adidas makes the kit. Looking at what's around the premier league, they make some really nice designs. My issue is that any time you give a single manufacturer rights, they usually struggle to differentiate kits across a full 20+ teams. And frankly, sometimes it feels like they simply aren't trying because they don't have to.

I think the league would be better served by opening things up. GA money notwithstanding, merchandising is important to the growth of the league. The current arrangement feels rather suboptimal.

*shrug* maybe it was club specific. They were probably trying to pay for the Stadium of Light or something.

Yeah that's strange you paid that much in 97. I just picked up the latest utd shirt for 45 quid in belfast 2 weeks ago

Is it a similar fit to the last one?

Still available at adidas.ca, also seen some in store at Sport Chek.
Lids had them on sale, but are sold out.
None at Si Vous Play Vaughan. You can check their other locations.
Saw some for $55 at Downsview Flea Market - not sure if they are legit, but looked to be so.
