BMO still the sponsor, which means I can keep wearing my old jersey of a few years ago without it standing out too much.

Think how nice this would look if the sleeves were blue instead of black (onyx for you nitpickers)

The usual reaction when a kit drops:

    BUT SERIOUSLY,

Not that bad, Kinda liked the 2012 jersey initially and this is similar to that (a little better with the faint hoops on the torso)

not the worst, but definitely not as ugly as people are making it out to be. would love to see it with a set of onyx shorts.

on the plus side, with all the crap that's been put out by Addidas this year we should be considering ourselves lucky.

Eh. I'll probably enjoy it once I have it in hand and see the boys playing with it on. Could be a LOT worse.

That's what they came up with? The shoulder stripes with the hoops and coloured sleeves look awful.

God I can't wait until adidas loses this contract (as much as that might be decades away).

I personally like the look of it. I was unimpressed at first but the more I see it the more I like it. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been that golden star above the crest.

Who would you rather have make it at this point? Nike jumped the shark in their football gear a few years ago. Adidas is at least making good stuff.

I'm not a huge fan of it but it might be the way it fits Michael Bradley. It's hanging off him like a curtain.

I want the tight fit jerseys they had in 2013 for the red. Those were amazing and not these loose annoying materials

MLSE knows its audience. I'm sure the coalition of dudes with dad bods, beer guts and spare tires have a lot more buying power then the rest.

According to Larson (includes full pics)

    http://www.torontosun.com/2017/02/24...or-2017-season

The club released the following description of the new kit:The red mélange fabric combined with the dark grey sleeves and details give the new primary jersey of Toronto FC a strong and casual look. The club colors are strong on the field, but the casual look of the jersey allows you to wear this piece on the street to show the pride for your club in your everyday life. As a city of many cultures, Toronto lives and breathes the “all for one” idea and therefore this slogan can be found on the back neck of the jersey. The metallic silver Canadian flag on the jock tag reflects their pride for their home country. The Authentic jersey is fitted for the players on the field and the adidas logo and MLS Crests are heat applied for maximum player comfort. The kit also features the best of Adidas technology with an engineered Adizero back panel for player comfort and temperature regulation.

That's true but an option to buy tight kit or a normal fit might be ideal but i don't know in the long run if it's a good idea

    pet peeve here.

why is the guys shirt 44% more expensive than the women's one?
given economies of scale in production and the relative demand surely it should be the other way around?!!

it's growing on me. Still think it's going to take a while for anything to top our most recent primary kit. that was excellent.

Did we give the goalies a new jersey? never really got behind the bright green.

Because the women's and youth one's are replicas.

I am VERY happy that MLSE took away that huge gigantic scoop neck from the women's shirt. There was no need for that.

Will be interesting to see what women like better. I'm sure this is all fashion / market driven.

Interestingly, the one shown on the league site is a big scoop.
