2017 Toronto FC Red Kit Revealed.
Here is the new red kit Toronto FC will be wearing in 2017. An interesting look with the black striping and arms. A series of head shots was uploaded last week to the MLS Press Box website ahead of tomorrow's announcement. Guess the TFC brain trust did not think much of uploading these pics and having people find them, especially how easily accessible they were.

First impression - I don't like it.
Are the stripes kind of scratched or doodled?
Everyone made fun of my prediction with the hoops (horizontal stripes) and there it is. My first impression not the greatest.
I like it.
Where that blue tho?

I don't mind it. I think there were some better ideas that folks were posting, but I like that they kept the link to the Onyx kit with the shoulders, and I like the stripes (I was hoping for some type of stripes in the new kit!). I would buy one of these (and in fact, I might tomorrow at the breakfast!). Anything is an improvement over what they introduced last year!
The more I look at it, the more it is growing on me...
is it me, or does the black material on the sleeves look like it's made out of leather? I know it's not but it looks funny.
This is a really odd jersey imo.
It's not my favourite of all time...but it'll do just fine
First impression is not a good one for me, and typically I always like the kits.
Better than having blue in it but ug. Only good point is it looks less adidasy stripey.
The cuffs on the arms look like they are off a teenage girls bed skirt.
I hope it will grow on me.

Not a jersey Ill be buying but I dont dislike/hate it. It's just average.

It's alright. On the plus side the horizontal stripes will make me look even fatter.
I suspect it will look better in person than in pictures, like many shirts (that's Nike frustration speaking, at least adidas puts a few more minutes effort into their designs).
If the shorts are red, I'm ok with it. If the shorts are onyx, then no.
I always don't like our kits at the beginning but then they grow on me. I hope this will be the case as well. I'm digging the black sleeves but the overall look is not impressive to me yet. Gonna need to see the full shirt from the back as well to make up my mind.
Having said that, our kit designers usually do a great job (except for the blue color but only coz MLSE made them add it) so I'm sure people will end up liking this.
I like it. Nothing offensive in this design (like some kind of ridiculous rain theme). I would certainly buy this jersey and be proud to wear it.
Now for the season to begin.

My kingdom for a TFC jersey with a collar and buttons...
This is a departure year that will make me appreciate the next, more traditional style. It would take a pretty special year or player for me to buy this one.

So that's either an Onyx stripe down the side or the whole back is a different colour (which would just look weird).
I think I see a bit of red on the other side of that stripe on Marky's left had side.

This looks like a sub-par version of the 2011 jersey.
I might try it on to be sure,
but the pictures aren't selling it to me.
Its ok. Nothing special. Nothing terrible.

Nah, this is a set of Pj's.
I usually pick up long sleeve kits so with the black/onyx sleeves on this kit, I actually Like it.
