Default Cities apply for MLS Expansion

I mentioned FC Cincinnati on another post as a possible expansion city\team and I was Right.

I think they have a shot.

Nice to see Detroit in the running to.

2 in 2020. 2 in 2022. Potentially an extra if Miami doesn't get sorted.

Cincinnati gets a team in order to give Columbus Crew an actual rival - unlike the pretend rival they tried with us

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if they're going for 40 teams total, which will then be split into 2 20-team conferences which both function like separate leagues, with the winner of each playing each other for MLS Cup.

That would actually be pretty ideal travel-wise.

Also – it's amazing the expansion fee is up to $150 million. What did we pay, $10 million, I think?
