I was at the game last night with my South African friend again. So disappointing to not see Cassius at least get a bit of a look. Note my friend is not some huge fan of his, but just very surprised that a player from Mamelodi Sundowns doesn't see the field when it's obvious that TFC desperately needs help.

We are 4 points behind Colorado now. The wooden spoon race is slipping away from us.

Where are those sweet, sweet MLS SuperDraft mock drafts at?

Slipping away? Seems we are clenching it with both hands. Quite the effort.

He had a sprain, and they're usually careful about making sure those are completely gonzo, because they're easy to reaggravate.

He is gonna need to improve his goalkeeper handling techniques- catching and holding a shot more; especially his w's and diving parries.

Ok thanks for the info. Certainly not worth risking anything for this season.

Romero played a solid game on Saturday. Wasn’t perfect but stood on his head and saved us a goal or two. I think Luka at first glance looks like more of the prospect but credit where it’s due

Romero is actually a year younger than Gavran. TFC will likely have to make a decision on the two of them in pre-season.

Wait. What? Sorry, mosdef confused! Not following this bouncing ball. Wasn't Gavran, not Romero, TFC's goalkeeper the past two matches?

I think he needs to work on his hands and command in the box but there are tools there to work with. Now if Conway was his coach then he'd end up Bono'ed so hopefully Herdman's new crew are better.

The end of this season will be a sweet release.

Then we get to find out if there's any hope the current crop can fix this. If they haven't started releasing and signing people well before Christmas, I'll start getting immediately worried. I mean, more than the natural anxiety caused by the last three years.

If Manning and the Italians are not gone by Christmas (and that's just the start), TFC won't be fixed anytime soon. I have been a season ticket holder since the first season. I have had enough of ownership/management incompetence and I am done at the end of the season.

Not sure about the Italians. I am pretty sure at least one will be gone and not sure which one they could dump.

As for Manning, he won't be gone but if this De Vos rumor is legit, and it seems plausible, then that should leave Manning fully removed from the football operations side of TFC. Then it will be Hernandez & De Vos responsible for continuing our ruination.

Midfielder Julian Altobelli has been signed to a short term deal for tonight. This must been they are expecting enough bodies out for this to be needed.

Toronto FC sign Midfielder Julian Altobelli to short-term agreement | Toronto FC

Yeah, this sucks. Also, strange that all of Hernandez's signing continue to be stapled to the bench.

Mbongue starting over Prince or Cash is baffling. I don't understand at this point.

Better to tell people what they’ve not seen yet is great rather than have prof to the contrary.

This is my guess. Neither of these two are legit MLS quality. At least not yet.

    This is tryout time.

Owusu and Cash both have professional credibility from other leagues already. This is about giving marginal players a chance to prove they have something to offer. So far, they're not really taking it.

Owusu had 10 goals in the Bundesliga 2 last year and we've seen the video. They're solid goals, not easy finishes.

Cash is another issue; he's young and coming from an objectively weaker league. But I don't think it's a worry that they're not good enough for MLS.

the two worst teams in the east tonight, this should be fun, if it were not for Luka in net, not sure how much interest I would have at this point.

Bullshit play acting for a foul. Get up. Plus, send him off for thirty seconds for delaying the game.
