I remember meeting an English supporter at euro2004..were chating about club and country...and i remember him telling me about his local club team winning the league in a 4th or 3rd div back home..and how all his mates celebrated and cryed all night and how it was the greatest night of his life..after they won...I really didnt get his feelings until this moment...

12:00AM --- Holy Crap – TODAY IS THE DAY!
12:01AM – pinch self – yep – this is real….pinch wife….”not now dear, I’m tired”…..too real….
12:02AM – I think I should get some sleep – well, maybe I will watch the second leg one more time….
2:00AM – I really need to sleep – let’s just see if anyone is on the boards talking about tickets, Johnson or Osorio, the need to “bring it”, and ….oh crap….where the heck is my membership card?
4:00AM - Time to sleep – for real…..I’m dreaming of a white Cup Final……and an orange ball?!
8:00AM – holy crap – 4 hours of sleep –awesome…..maybe I’ll just watch the second leg one more time….
9:00AM – Breakfast of Champions – Chip Buddy and Carlsberg….for luck, and the carbs, must have carbs to prepare myself for later…..
10:00AM – Back to the boards. More talk of tickets, Johnson or Osorio, how early should we get to Joe’s? maybe I should be at Joe’s now? And dammit, where is my membership card…..

12:00PM – I should be at Joe’s now…..I need to get out of here….
12:30PM – Go over final checklist for the Arctic Expedition I am taking to BMO --- Pirate RPB Shirt - check, sweatshirt - check, RPB Hoodie – check, underwear – check, long underwear – check, longer underwear – check, snow pants – check, TFC sideline coat, TFC toque, Canada Mittens (what no TFC mittens?! – jeez– got to pick some of those up ), Two layers of socks, one set of boots and a partridge in a pear tree….geez are we actually playing a game this close to Christmas….
12:55PM – realize that going to the bathroom in this might be more difficult than expected --- make executive decision to bring some plastic bags and tubing for later --- just in case….
1:00PM – On the way to Joe’s --- listening to COYR podcast, East Side Stand Up podcast, Pitchside podcast while navigating my way into Liberty Village….
2:00PM – Park car somewhere in the northern hemisphere and start walking to Joe’s…..
2:15PM – I seem to have misplaced my membership card kind sir --- please let me in on the patio….Hi Coach – what you recognize my kid? Thank God….let us in….
2:15-4:15PM – Eat, Drink, help Gary out with other membership card delinquents….nervous? nope, I can’t feel my face (when I’m with you)….sorry I might be going a bit crazy at this point
4:15-6:00PM – Mandated corporate fun with a DJ down the street or stay at Joe’s…..can’t feel my legs now, stay at Joe’s it is….
6:00PM –Start marching – maybe if I get close enough to a flare it will help me feel my extremities again…..
6:30-7:00PM – At the gates….ok, ok, everyone be cool, I have a bottle of (now frozen) water in my bag, and I want to try to save $5.50….I’ll bury it under these streamers…..and all of those hot pockets…..
7:00PM –I made it….inside the promised land ---buy some merch, try to pee and find my seat….you know someone else’s seat (sorry stranger!) because my season ticket was on Stubhub for $300…..
8:00PM-10:00PM – Absolute Panic and Abject Joy in some combination….
