Remember having to play Nick Garcia for so long that our mood went from "he's shit" to "he'll just have to do" to "I guess he's the best we've got".

I remember playing footie with complete strangers and friends in the concourse of that rain soaked Vancouver game.
I remember flush trying his hardest to get Long May You Run started on the Montreal Bus Trip, walms shirtless wandering into the crew section in Columbus and chanting "No Means No" at Fredy Montero
I remember getting to call the Bolton v TFC exhibition game. People were texting me telling me they hear my voice throughout the stadium.
I remember paying waaaay too much second hand to have seats to every game before I could get on the official season seat list. 126 to 219 to 112
I remember sneaking in a beach ball and when I was ducking behind the people in front of me blowing it up the ushers thought I was getting sick and came to kick me out.

    What a ride.

The one & only time Garcia earned MVP of a game, by letting himself get punched & getting a Montreal player ejected.

BTW Titus and that scout: far from the worst players to play for TFC over the years, respect!

[QUOTE=Huyton;1822878]One of my favourite posts of all time, by Chevy, from 01-12-2010, 11:31 AM in "BMO Field is a wasteland.... (photos)" started by the incomparable Parkdale.

Now that it's been 10 years for TFC, I would like to officially nominate that "pylon" post by Chevy as Post of the Decade.

EDIT: I think this should be a link to the original post:

Four players made their one and only appearance with the Reds in that match. As mentioned Rick Titus, TFC Head Scout Tim Regan, Diaz Kambre on a one day loan from Vancouver and Derek Gaudet who spent the season with TFC as end of the bench reserve.

No, that's a different thread. (Not slagging Leiweke, I'd be glad to chime in on that topic if someone starts that up.)

This one is about something else.

Here's to you if you read the Esky's World blog, if you remember Ricky Titus, and John Carver's reaction to him, and John Carver's reaction to Jeff Cunningham missing against Montreal from six inches out (paid back now in spades, baby!)

Here's to you if remember Dero to Celtic, the Fuad rating system, Fake Tom (OK that's a bit self-important, but it's that kind of night!), the rollerblader, and if the names Joao Pinto and Paul Dickov make you laugh.

Here's to you if you can close your eyes and see Amado Guevara curling a free kick onto the top corner, or Javier Martina taking a long kick from Frei on a frigid day and burying it. Same if you can see Torsten Frings lofting a beautiful ball 50 yards right on the button to Luis Silva at Skydome.

Here's to you if you have a soft spot for Mo Edu, Marvell Wynne, Sam Cronin. Danny Koevermans.

Does it give you a chuckle to think about Adam Braz hitting the Cinesphere with his free kicks, and Andy Welsh scoring in the rain, and Andy Iro getting beaten like a rented mule, or Nick Labrocca scoring on a 40 yard free kick, that was pushed by a 40 mile an hour wind?

If yes, here's to you, and thank you.

Thanks for sharing the ride, and making it great.
    ESKYS WORLD!
I remember him saying how he trained with women cuz they were intense.

Cheers to sticking it out when everyone said you were nuts to spend money on this league.

I like it flying a kite on a low wind day, you run and tug and try an try again for 10 years.......and finally it has gotten high enough that it'll stay up on its own.

When an errant ball slowly made it's way up through the crowd, and eventually tossed outside the stadium.
