Altidore player of the match 3x over. I will be scouring the forum for any negative post I have ever made about this man and deleting it. His play is what brought us from a good team to a great team over the course of this season. Can't say enough about this guy.

Pretty amazing that 5 different players scored and we were dangerous from set plays. I guess we were just saving all those goals from corners for the right occasion.

You have to tip your hat to Montreal after that series. What an epic series they pushed us to the limit. Soccer has come of age in Canada.

Altidore has taken this team on his back for several weeks now. He was absolutely possessed tonight.

I am speechless. This team, and I am not in the least bit sarcastic, is very good. Better than that, they are a great team. After so many years, this was heartstopping.

Yep, we rolled a few teams on the way here but they were a worthy adversary. Bernier is still a very good player - he deserves more profile. Very good servant to the game in Canada.

I got a tear in my eyes, folks.

What an absolutely outstanding series - it would be so against any team. But against Montreal, it made it all the better.

Even neutral fans are saying that was the best MLS playoff series they've ever seen. It really was unbelievable, and on par with any European series I've ever watched in terms of entertainment value.

And now, the two best fan bases in the league get to watch their clubs play in the MLS Cup Final for the first time in history. It couldn't have been scripted any better.

went through the full spectrum of emotions several times during the 90 minutes, and then extra time was just pure elation.

    unreal.

soaked in the 5th row of the temporary grandstands, and we didn't care. was so focused on the game.

just jogged home 3km in the rain, and had an amazing hot shower. my body is still vibrating, and it's gonna take me a while to fall asleep tonight (no alcohol, just emotion), and a few more days for this to process.

After those 2 goals in extra time, BMO Field was just completely rocking, both sides jumping up and down, top to bottom. so good.

    Un be Liev a ble.

I am pumped, exhausted, no voice left, and on cloud 99.

Got tickets for 2 colleagues who are now indebted to me for the best sports experience they've ever had. Love converting non-believers.

    HOLY WHAT A GAME!!!!
It had it all, not gonna lie I was a bit afraid when Giovinco went off. This game had so many emotions, even the fireworks guy got trigger happy and let one off randomly!!

Went through the TFC baseball cap, the TFC Carlsberg feather hat and finally the Mexican wrestling mask. I had nothing left!

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

    -Eduardo Galeano
