I have never rooted this hard for another team.
GO SOUNDERS!
Come on u boys in green
"Super Stefan Frei" !!
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
Go Sounders!!! If they can score 2 at home and hold the Rapids off the score sheet I think they take the series. With Gashi out for the first leg I can't see where the goals will come from.
Go Sounders until Nov. 30th, after which I'm fairly sure we'll absolutely hate them!
With Tim Howard out, Rapids don't have much of a chance. Let's do it Seattle
Can't underestimate the importance of a Sounders win. The Rapids do not lose at home. Literally. A one-off game there would not bode well for the visiting team.
Sounders seem pretty confident they will win. They also seem pretty confident that they will be playing Montreal. I guess wishful thinking because that is the only way they will see the MLS Cup game there. We are hoping they win and they are hoping we will lose. Funny how that is.
I am upset at going from Xbox360 to PS4.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
MacMath will be rusty off the bench. He was playing well before Howard came in, but nerves for such a big game and the fact that he hasn't played in a while will also factor in. But I agree, not a cake walk. I am looking forward to watching this game after ours.
Road Games:
2013 - Montréal , 2014 - Orlando (Disney Classic), Montréal
2015 - Columbus, New England, Montréal
2016 - NYCFC (Leg 2 Conference Semis), Montréal (Leg 1 Conference Final)
2017 - Ottawa (Leg 1 Canadian Championship Semi), DCU, Red Bulls (Leg 1 Conference Final), Columbus (Leg 2 Conference Final)
2019 - Montréal, NYCFC (Eastern Conference Semi @ Citi Field), Seattle (MLS Cup Final)
Seattle needs to win the first game with a clean sheet and they will be in a good position to win it. 1-nil or 2-0 would be ideal. Colorado can't score but they don't concede a lot. Seattle needs their goals in the first game.
Skill wise McMath is definitely up there comparing to the rest of MLS goalies. It's the leadership factor of Howard that they will miss the most imo. But yeah they still got a shot.
I really like them. I want it to be their year but next year.
Rapids actually decided to attack for the first few minutes and it pays off with an away goal.
1-1
Entertaining game so far
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
McMath just stood on his head with those saves!
Their second leg is on Sunday... might have to pull the trigger on flights to Denver or TO on the assumption that we will make the final!
2-1 Sounders on Lodeiro PK

Seattle needs to score early in the 2nd leg and park the bus
