    They have just released a new batch of tickets for Tuesday night. Lower Bowl standing room, it's at the back of the 200 sections. $29.

    Thinking of getting a standing pair in 251, good or bad idea? Would I be able to make my way over to the supporters section?

    Hey all

    This is likely coming to your email if you bought tickets online but a few things to note anyways:

    Pretty usual stuff. Also no flags or banners (unless fireproof certified) except for small flags 3x5' on flexible poles.

    Security & Code of conduct:

    This is standard stuff mostly -- just try and behave, don't throw stuff, don't stand on the seats, leave it to security to handle local fans and whatever, and we'll be escorted in/out, held 20-30 minutes at the end.

    SECURITY ASSIGNMENTS
    • There will be a security presence at all times throughout the event.
    • Security will insure that visiting team supporters with a supporter’s ticket gain access to the designated
    visiting supporter’s entrance.
    • Security will escort the group into Olympic Stadium and directly to their section.
    • Visiting team supporters will have access to all necessary amenities.
    • Security roam teams will be assigned to the concourse to watch for supporters accessing other areas.
    MONTREAL POLICE DEPARTMENT
    Montreal police officers will be assigned to the supporter group area. Police officers will assist security
    throughout the event.
    MISCELLANEOUS
    • Guests will not be permitted to stand on seats. Guests standing on seats will be asked to discontinue
    the behavior. If the behavior continues, the guests will be ejected from the facility.
    • Guests that throw any items will be ejected and with possible arrest.
    • Guests involved in altercations will be subject to ejection and possible arrest.
    • Guests entering the field of play will be ejected and subject to arrest.
    We ask all guests to respect the following
    behaviours and adhere to the Code of Conduct:
    1. Be respectful of all other guests, fans, supporters, participants, referees, entertainers, athletes,
    stadium staff and stadium property;
    2. Guests shall not interfere with the progress of the game by entering the field area, by throwing objects
    or interfering with the event in any fashion;
    3. Guests shall not engage in disruptive behavior, including foul, racial, obscene or abusive language or
    gestures towards, or in reference to a player, coach, referee, fan, or staff member;
    4. Guests shall respect the Stadium Rules & Regulations and the Prohibited Items List;
    5. Guests who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner;
    6. There will be zero tolerance for the violation of any local, provincial or federal laws.

    So what happens when people start lighting off fireworks like last time?

    How serious is the self policing going to be? It's a tough question to ask, but it's required.

    Are those string backpack things (ball bags maybe?? no idea what the are called) allowed in? The two other times I have gone to Montreal I stayed the night so just left everything behind. Since I'm doing the whirlwind trip I planned on tossing some smalls things in the bag (book, toothbrush, etc). If it will be an issue, I know Saputo they did a bag check-in, any word if they will do the same at the Big O?

    Not sure if this really counts as a backpack or not: http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/pos...en-6pm-tuesday

    Draw String Bags? I hope so. The one I'm bringing is just a shade longer than the 14" limit when fully opened, but everything else falls within the restriction.

    If you are driving to the stadium, I'm told by family in Montreal that there is a lot of construction-related delays on major roads between the downtown and the stadium. Best bet is to take the Metropolitan AutoRoute east beyond Pie-IX, then head south and approach the stadium from the east side. Exit the same way.

    I just got the email. Am I reading this correctly that they want us in the stadium by 6 pm - two hours before kickoff? That's a little much isn't it?

    5 of us are staying at the Hotel Universel and will be around there looking for other fans. Also, if anybody is looking for last minute tickets I had 3 friends cancel so have 3 tickets in Section 451, 2nd row. PM me if you're interested. They are yours for face value of $29.

    Ya I see they want all TFC fans there by 6pm. That's a bit ridiculous. 1500 + fans that early. I just don't see that happening. I got to get from my train to hotel. Then hotel to pub. Then pub to stadium. With just arriving in Montreal bus station at 2:30-3. It leaves me hardly any time at the pub. Can we all plan to meet there at the stadium 6:45pm-7pm? How can you expect 1500 fans at the freaking stadium 2 hours before kickoff!!!

    Did people see email today from Montreal that all TFC fans must be at the stadium for 6pm? I thinks it's crazy to have 1500 fans at the stadium for 6pm. That would be like leaving the pub at 5pm to get the metro train. Leaves many no time at all. Make more sense for 6:45-7pm to meet there. I don't know if I will make it for 6pm.

    I'm heading to the game tomorow but don't have tickets in the away section so I didn't receive any email from the impact about the protocol for the game. Can someone please post the email here for us to see. Thanks
