TSN is showing the lineup as a 3-5-2 with Lovitz at LWB and Morrow as the left-sided CB.

    What's going on with Seba??

I remember three games back he wanted to start. He always seems to be one game away from returning. Is Vanney not being straight with us? Is the injury worse than he's letting on?

Probably just a matter of Seba really wanting to come back but TFC not wanting to rush him.

I'm seeing a repeat of Wed's game right now. creating chances, not putting them away
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

Beyond the disappointment with the goal, I have been pleased with Cooper tonight. Less so with Osorio. All he had to do on that early chance was touch it in front of Altidore and Jozy could bury it. Instead, as he always does, he took an extra touch or two and fucked up a great chance.

Zavelleta is costing this team points.

    Nail him to the bench.

I don't see how you put that play on Zavaleta. He reacted to a ball that was pinging around in the box because TFC let that through ball through on the right. That's the initial breakdown.

Awful. At this rate were going to end up third and playing a side who are hot having just made the cut

Babouli initially lost the ball in possession leading to the goal, we must try harder

Is Cheyrou injured? It's unbelievable not to have him on the field. Pitiful attack and an even worse goal allowed. I feel bad that Cooper has to play with so many mugs.

Yup, thought he was at fault too but after seeing it again I don't think he really had much time to react. He's had a couple slips on the ball but he did also cause the turnover leading to our goal.

Babouli hasn't done anything wrong. He's providing guys with an outlet and moving the ball quickly. It not like anyone has found him the ball in a good position, he's doing his part.

Pretty good half. Shame it had to be wasted on some bone head defending and letting our guard down following the goal.

Lovitz is simply not at this level. It destroys any good we can do with this formation when the move is killed almost every time we spread the ball left.

I'm happy with Vanney's decisions for this one. Cooper is the best fit at the base of our midfield trio with Bradley. No one else has the mobility and technique to do the job there. Having the wingbacks stay high also allowed us to dictate the game and put DC on the back foot. Things were looking good before we conceded.

don't mind my laziness reposting something i threw up on reddit

a decent TV deal would always help. you can't really build steady viewership when you've broadcast your last 3 games on TSN4, TSN2 and SN360. this doesn't help the argument about TFCs TV ratings for two reasons:

    1. it's inconsistent compared to other toronto sports teams. the Argos air exclusively on TSN1/3/4/5, the Leafs air on CBC/SN, the Raptors air on TSN1 with pregame specials on TSN2/4 and the Jays air on Sportsnet.
    2. TSN2 and SN 360 don't come on a remotely basic TV package. which means that if i even want to consider watching TFC play at home, i have to purchase bells "better" or rogers "popular" package for $75 a month.

it's kind've hard promote a team when you have to say "alright, so 14 of the leagues 34 games are going to be aired on a basic cable package, but you'll have to pay $75 to see the rest. oh.. also.. the channels going to change every week so you'll just have to keep an eye out for it".

Agreed, it's honestly frustrating watching players of this level play with our quality DP's. Those guys would be lucky to start in League 2 in England.

Yeah, it really wasn't on him. He was reacting to a good ball across after a bad turnover. That was on the whole team.

I'd like to see us bring in Hagglund in the back three and push Morrow out wide while sitting Lovitz.
