So us losing the remaining 5 games after NYRB game and DC winning all 6 is obviously very unlikely to happen but technically we don't secure the play off spot on Sunday unless DC lose too.
At least that's how it looks to me.
So DC's tie last night means they can't do any better than tie, I assume.

If TFC wins tomorrow they are still in because DC can only get a maximum of 12 wins.

Colorado and Dallas both tied yesterday, a win today gets us that much closer to the supporters shield

If we lose this game, I'm going to try to remember that we would be second only 1 point behind NYRB with a game in hand. Not sure I would be successful at remembering that until half way home though.

i.e. Losing would be a lost opportunity but not the end of our east title race by any means.

Huge opportunity to challenge for the title. Lets also remember we have more home games than the other teams too, if we get the business done today we have a very real chance of the title coming down to the last two weeks.

Baboulli would be a risk and I don't think this is the game to risk that. Orlando, if we had to.

The projected lineup is never correct, it's someone in social media having a laugh.

With Ricketts out and Giovinco probably limited to a sub appearance at most, I would understand starting Babouli as the choice is between him and Hamilton, and Hamilton plays a more similar game to Altidore. But Babouli has kind of lost his place in the team lately, and this is a big game.

Maybe Cooper could play up top off of Altidore, dropping a little deeper. Delgado would be in midfield with Osorio as attacking mid.

I don't think these lineups have ever been right even when team selections were obvious.

With vanney in charge, it wouldn't be surprising.

I think it's gonna feel a bit warmer on the field than we think at kickoff, with the low wind and hot sun. Wear your sunscreen! Lol

And we Persist with Osorio at AM. That plus no Seba means chances will be few and far between this game I fear.

Red Bulls in a 4-2-3-1: Robles, Duvall, Perrinelle, Collin, Lawrence, Felipe, Davis, Muyl, Kljestan, Royer, BWP

McCarty, Grella and Veron all on the bench. I think we have a good chance against that back four plus McCarty not protecting them.

Wow a rare TFC game on Fox, channel 28... Gonna watch this broadcast and see how alexi lalas talks about us.

    So far he said:

    - We're "nouveau riche"
    - Have had incompetent management for the past decade
    - No one pays attention to us south of the border

    A fair assessment, quite accurate.

Welp. Now would be a great time to win a game without scoring first.

He can't be in our starting 11 come playoff time. He's just too much of a liability.

Agreed. Oso is so frustrating to watch, has a good game about every 5 games. If he was American he would be constantly criticized. Surely Cooper must be an upgrade, I'd take a League 1 AM over Oso in a heartbeat.
