I think they made a mistake. If we win we have 49pts which means 7th place NE can't catch us, however, if 8th place DC wins their remaining 6 games they would have 51pts. So us losing the remaining 5 games after NYRB game and DC winning all 6 is obviously very unlikely to happen but technically we don't secure the play off spot on Sunday unless DC lose too.
At least that's how it looks to me.

I can't wait for Sunday. It is an opportunity to truly showcase that we are a legitimate cup contender. I have been hesitating to talk about the shield race but if we can manage 3 points on Sunday I can't help but feel that it could be ours for the taking. We just need to show the league that we are capable of winning the big games. I would be completely shocked to see Seba start this game. I think it's 50/50 that we see him at all. The split market thing is an interesting development. At first I was irritated about everyone not getting both games. But given the microscopic ratings of MLS games, have to give Fox some latitude to try some different things.
