Many have said it before -- what a goal, and what an amazing play call.
Thursday night NYRB play a Concacaf game at home. Hopefully tires them out a bit before our game.
Any chance Seba might make it back for this game?

I think Seba takes one look at that Golden Boot race and insists he plays.
If he's looking good he'll be on the bench to start. Maybe get a few minutes. Any doubt and they will keep him out. Still 5 games after this one.
I agree with Seba off the bench if he plays.
Maybe send him to Roma on Wedneday, and let him fly back in a couple hours before the game.
That was probably the individual performance highlight of the entire season for me.
Good news is that NYRB tend to leak goals near the end of games (we know from past seasons what that feels like):

But ... I thought Nigel was the most boring commentator in the world?
Of course it's tempting to bring back Seba for what appears to be a big match in the SS race (especially after THAT goal), but I would not risk the war for one battle.
There's no sense to rush him back in for 1 game, as he could aggravate the injury and be out much longer. Let him fully recover.
I wasn't impressed with the performance vs Chicago and the goalie blunder was a gift of 3 points.
RB's are obviously a much better team and TFC need to step up their game.
This is the real test without Seba.
Well here's the chance for somebody to go and ask him

seems to be a lot of tickets available for this one, that is kinda surprising since its the biggest game of the season.
It's a Sunday, school's back on, and no marquee names for the opposition so i'm not surprised it's not sold out.
Maybe not draw wise but it is the biggest game of the season. 1st vs. 2nd Its the equivalent of that Jays weekend series vs. Boston.
Yeah, I know, the discerning punter will be the only one who knows but if MLSE were smart, they'd be pushing that info out there. They never seem to sell the league. And then TSN wonders why nobody cares about the league in Toronto outside of a minority of TFC fans.
maybe its still early in the week.but the club should really try to hype this a bit more then they usually do.arguably one of the biggest games in our history so far.
The stakes for this game and the one vs Philly are massive not in a live or die sense but the rewards for winning are massive. RBNY has a terrible road record but everyone is fixed on the final stretch so can't assume anything.
So apparently NYRB have a shot clock at their training pitch and expect shots within x number of seconds once they get the ball. Makes for a dynamic attack. Its also one reason why they fail to hold onto leads.
This will not be an easy game.
TFC can clinch playoffs this week if:
TFC win, DC lose, and NE lose or tie.
Also, if that happens AND
Dallas lose, SJ win or tie, and Vancouver lose
then TFC will be the first team to clinch playoffs in 2016.
