Default Other MLS Games - August 26-28

    FRIDAY

Colorado @ RSL 8 pm - Big Western Match
Why you should watch this game? - Two good teams and no edge due to altitude
    Prediction: 1-2

    Saturday

Chicago @ DCU 7 pm - the slog back from the edge Derby
Why you should watch this match later? - Can these teams continue their reboot?
    Prediction: 2-1

SKC @ Philly 7 pm - the mid table teams for both conferences meet
Why you should watch this match later? - Grit vs. determination
    Prediction: 1-3

San Jose @ Columbus 7:30 pm - The Blue Collar Team Derby
Why you should watch this match later? - SJE defends well in depth vs. the Columbus swing it around attack
    Prediction: 0-0

FCD @ Houston 9 pm - Texas Derby
Why you should watch this match later? - Houston defence vs. that Dallas offence
    Prediction: 2-1

Vancouver @ LAG 10:30 pm - Two different levels of sputtering meet
Why you should watch this match? - LAG needs a statement match and this might be it
    Prediction: 0-5

    Sunday

NER @ NYRB 2:30pm - possible playoff clash
Why you should watch this match? - NYRB chasing us
    Prediction: 1-3

Seattle @ Portland 5pm - Cascadia Clash that means something
Why you should watch this match? - The Timbers Army are the kings of TIFO and gotta be better then that really poor effort Seattle supporters did last week, but this game likely will define the season for these two teams
    Prediction: 1-2

NYCFC @ Orlando 7pm - Kreis has risen, Indeed
Why you should watch this match? - The most FASCINATING encounter all week. Larin vs that porous defence. Pirlo vs that lazy midfield. The coaches, the DP's, the heat. That and NYCFC is chasing us.
    Prediction: 2-2

First weekend in a month that I haven't been up on georgian bay, so ill be trying to watch as many games as possible.

Should be a solid Rocky Mountain Cup match this evening between RSL and Colorado

Could just hear one of the crowd mics pick up a "howard's on steroids" chant by a solo suppourter who sounds like he's already a few beers deep, lol

RSL just equalized vs Colorado. I note that for absolutely no reason at all.

A good reason for that is Colorado is one of the supporters shield front runners so best they don't win tonight

Well looks like the Rapids have lost any and all momentum they had earlier in the match.

2 solid goals by Yuri Mos and RSL sort of controlling play

Yep, Yuri missed a pk too. Even though RSL are also a supporters shield rival better for them to win than the Rapids since before tonight Colorado had played 2 games less than us.

Wow. For our sake I wish we could face Chicago this weekend. They got beat up good. The fact they got one with a man down was something but that rally didn't last long.

Vancouver got what they needed to stop the bleeding in LA. Looked like they had most of the chances on goal as well.
