I have a feeling that he may only end up scoring 20 goals this season. That is simply not enough for the money we pay him. Sure he puts in some assists, but ultimately the point of this sport is scoring.
Maybe it is time for him to go.

It's only a matter of time before Barcelona force a transfer of €30m for the almost 30 year old. Then he can resume his rightful place on European benches nicer than our pitch.

Gonna change my profile pic to Kyle Bekker.
Even statistically exceeding the heights of last year wouldn't be necessarily an improvement for him. Those are just stats at the end of the day. Indicators of success. Nothing will compare to the early days of his career here, and the euphoria that came along with it, when Seba would put in otherworldly performances only to have them cancelled out by Warren Creavalle doing Warren Creavalle things. That was football.
Without perpetual failure in the rest of the squad, his greatness no longer shines so bright. Sell him. He's boring now.
You can't be serious.
Giovinco is a big reason why BMO Field has such high attendance.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Either he's sarcastic or a certified dumbass...Giovinco is the truth! He's taking us all the way to the top.
Is this thread a joke, not only Seba doing great things himself but with Jozy back, they actually make each other even better. It's quite something to watch.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
Its an obvious joke thread, relax.
Ahh, trane, that is good.
that gets 4 fuads
“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
He might not be scoring as much, but he does all the right things off the ball.
lol....well done trane...
I guess this is a joke thread from the slack Altidore was taking......I was very critical of Altidore earlier this year, but I'll hold my hands up and say he has been great since coming back.
I won't take back my criticisms, as I believe that for his wage, goal scoring should be part of the deal, but man is he ever doing it now!
Trane, you forgot the sarcasm emoticon, lol. You're getting people riled up in here.
lol
Never going to give you up, never going to let you down...
We soon are going to be the easy prank targets of all time - "hey did you see that tweet about Giovinco? WHATTTT weowejnkaewladkaldjdsjk..."
Next up, ban Nutella!
I'm worried about Giovinco scoring too much. He's making every team in MLS look like bunch of chumps. I think I heard Ken Tribett of Union had to go see a therapist after Giovinco skinned him so badly. Scott Caldwell of NE and Sean Franklin of DCU are still trying to find their shorts. He's going to make every player in MLS cry in their sleep. That's just mean.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Hahaha!
How did anyone not see the humour in this immediately???
Great job Trane.
This is fantastic
LOL LOL LOL.
Some people....
Unless he scores at least 5 goals via header each season, he just ain't worth it. His goal celebrations really haven't been up to snuff lately either. #GiovincoOut
#GiovincoOut, love it.
Flats, I new you would appreciate it.
Scooter celly or GTFO
Where is Roogsy when you need him?
I would like to see Giovinco in central defense. We're wasting him up front.
“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
I heard from a very highly placed inside source within MLSE yesterday that Giovinco stubbed his toe on a lamppost and now he hates the 'stupid Toronto infrastructure' and is considering playing in China for a big payoff.
My source is legit.
Fuck, ensco. I was drinking soda when I read that!
