March to the Match - Aug 27

Almost time once again for our derby match with MTL. All roads lead to BMO on Saturday evening, march there with supporters!

Head to the streets from Joe's to connect with other SGs along the way, warming up our voices and making the trek thru the CNE festivities to BMO.

chbu12/inebriati details some plans:

Disclaimer – there will be pyro, but we’re expecting a more controlled performance than last time, with exclusion of fireworks.

We'll leave from Joe's (1189 King West) Saturday at 5:15 and head down Dufferin towards the west entrance of the CNE grounds, meeting SGs along the way. This will avoid the massive bottleneck at CNE/GO gates and it'll be a bit longer but let us navigate the expected crowds. We'll get into the stands a bit early to get tifos ready too.

Does the CNE allow re-entry as my brother and I want to go to the CNE to grab some food, then come to Joe's for the march. Sorry if this is a dumb question, it's been a while since I went to the CNE.

Get your hand stamped on the way out. The way out (to Joe's) is on the far left. There should be a CNE dude/dudette there with a stamper.

Regardless, they don't take your ticket when you get in the first time, so you should be able to use your ticket again for re-entry. They haven't scanned TFC tickets in the past, and the TFC ticket gets you free entry to the Ex.

For a group of decent size it will take a while to get into ex. Plus if early just continue singing outside southend til they let us in

LVMC is the start point. I'm guessing the amendment to the original post was to show where to meet up with the March if your leaving from Joe's instead of going to LVMC.
