Default MidWeek MLS Games Wed August 24th

Philly at CBus 7:30pm - The New Boys vs. The Old Guard
Why you should watch the compressed game later? - Philly's defensive patience vs. that whip it around offence
    Prediction: 2-1

DCU @ Montreal 7:30pm - Teams going in two different directions
Why you should watch the compressed game later? - Hints for Saturday and DCU's offence is kinda fun in a TFC circa 2013 sort of way
    Prediction: 1-2

LAG @ Chicago 8:30pm - Hollywood goes to a suburb in Illinois
Why you should watch the compressed game later? - Arena doesn't do two embarrassing losses in a row
    Prediction: 2-0

Seattle @ Houston 9:00pm - Hipsters go to Humidity
Why you should watch the compressed game later? - Seattle's attack vs. that defence
    Prediction: 1-2

NER @ SJE 10:30pm - the battle of the struggling Old Guards
Why you should watch the compressed game later? - Cause you like watching old geezers box?
    Prediction: 0-0

Montreal tied 1-1. About as good a result for us as we can get.

In other weird and wonderful news, Columbus wore their minion shirts and lost at home to Philly. And Chicago has come back at home to be beating LAG 2-1 starting the second. But, Accam might see retroactive action for going two feet into the LAG keeper.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

    -Eduardo Galeano
