Jozy is a fucking Bull! That should be his nickname!

Our side is awesome! We CAN finish first in the east and possibly host the MLS Cup for victory! Yes, I did fucking say that, so fucking what?!! YA GOTTA BELIEVE!!! (I'm fucking drunk BTW)

Now on to Orlando to savagely bitchslap Shithole City FC!
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)

Just noticed we have best GA in the East. What a turnaround over the past decade.

Impressive goals good to see Altidore do something like that.

It was great. Held off two defenders with sheer strength, controlled the ball and finished with sheer skill.

Fantastic game. It's amazing how well we can keep possession now.

Don't know if Jozy is going to be able to stay healthy over the long term, so that's still a concern and something TFC needs to think about in the off-season (I hope the medical staff and trainers can figure out a routine for him that works), but right now he's one of our best players and the club need to ride him for all he's worth. You can see the fire there, and he's got great rapport with Seba, so if those two can keep clicking, yeah, MLS Cup is not unrealistic at all.

Wow, guess there is not as much to talk about when the team wins handily! Was this on MLS live, if not when would it be available?

Just taking a peak at the table and the stats look good! (5 wins in 6 will do that for a club)

    - only one loss at home
    - best defence in the east
    - 3rd best PPG
    - 4th in points, game in hand on two above

I thought I was in soccer dreamland after the homestand! Long may it continue.

Yep it was on MLS Live. Any game that's on sportsnet won't be blacked out on MLS Live.

I have been very critical of Jozy in the past, but I am thrilled to be wrong. He has been a monster for us since coming back.

If we can keep this core group together, we can do big things over the next few years.

I was sort of the opposite. I believed he needed to be given as much time and chances as possible to get things right, and then he got hurt again, which made me strongly question his durability and wonder if TFC really should trade him while they could still get something for him.

Now he's playing awesomely. So ... I HOPE, really hope that him and the staff have figured out some kind of new regimen for him and he stays healthy. If he can put these hamstring troubles behind him, then I'm totally pro-Jozy.

If he gets injured again before the end of the season and thus leaves TFC short-handed for the playoffs, it'll be somewhat of a disaster.

Great performance from TFC tonight and a great result. Given it was a road win against one of the pacesetters in the conference it would be churlish to complain about the 2nd half and I'm willing to go along with Vanney's assessment that it was "tying down the points.

Indeed I think it's safe to say with the odd exception our recent form in general has been first class and for the first time ever supporting this team I'm starting to believe that Eastern Conference Champions is within our grasp, and who knows what might happen in the playoffs if we can secure not just the Conference title but the home field advantage that goes with it.

You gotta believe, but can only do so when performances give you Te hope to do so, and there have been several performance this season, tonight being one of them, which have done just that...

The Philly commentators were calling us legitimate MLS Cup and Supporters Shield contenders. Has that ever been discussed about us this late into a season?

A big part of it is how well our young guys played during that 1-2 month stretch earlier this summer. I am really starting to feel confident when guys like Chapman can come off the bench to help us shut down the match.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I taped the game and watched it after the Hip concert, so I may have been somewhat 'tired and emotional', but did anyone else hear fans chanting "Aaron Driver" or did I just imagine this? I fast forwarded a few times and deleted too hastily.

Stellar performance. Oso has been taking a lot of flack of late so I'll say this: Oso looked very incisive last night at the tip of the diamond. Wasn't content to just take a short pass and give one back, several intelligent runs opened a lot of space for other players. (e.g. Jozy's goal)

The team is playing with growing confidence. As the first team comes back from injury each player brings a boost to the squad. But now we have the confidence of depth.

Mid-week game while we are on a high...great stuff. These next 3 matches are very winnable. I'd do a bit of squad rotation for Orlando though.

I had it cranked on my TV and thought they were saying 'Fuck you Geiger'. It was right after Sappong went down in the box and Geiger called an offensive foul or offsides or something. Was never really explained.

There was a lot of this chant going on throughout the game after calls.

Numbers starting to suggest what I've been saying for two seasons: Altidore is the best pure target man in this league.

*Altidore now has 17 goals and 3 assists in 29 MLS starts for Toronto FC.
*Altidore is scoring a goal every 151 minutes, a good return for TFC's secondary scorer and a target man.
*Altidore is collecting a point every 128 minutes.
*Altidore is either scoring a goal, assisting on a goal, or drawing a penalty (Giovinco converts) every 117 minutes.

If he can stay healthy, he'll compete for a golden boot at some point.
Just wonder if MLSE leadership are going to continue shelling out for all threes DPs, especially if TFC stumble in the playoffs.
