Quick couple of games in succession. I suspect might be a bit of discussion after tonight.

Let's go with Kirsty instead, with Billy's extra verse:
Well then there is the duet
Like em all and to me the original one is a bit more visceral and fitting the occasion of the game Saturday.
Bringing my oldest "kid" (now 22) for the first time in years. I hope for entertainment, 3 points, and good weather.

My love for Billy Bragg goes back for decades....now I know what song will be stuck on the mental replay station for the day...
Didn't Vanney say a few weeks ago that everyone would be back by now?
If Bradley doesn't start, he could come on as a late sub. Johnson is the guy I really want to see come back.
Clint Irwin
Beitashour-Zavaleta-Moor-Morrow
Johnson-Bradley-Chapman-Ricketts
Giovinco-Altidore
Best starting 11, two choices, either:
--------------------------Irwin-------------------------
Beitashour-----Moor-----Zavaleta----Morrow
-----------------------Cheyrou-----------------------
-------Bradley--------------------Johnson---------
----------------------Chapman----------------------
------------Altidore-------------Giovinco-----------
Or:
-------------------------Irwin---------------------------
Beitashour----Moor----Zavaleta------Morrow
Bradley-------------Cheyrou----------Johnson
Ricketts-------------Altidore-----------Giovinco
Considering how Cheyrou has played this year I don't know why anyone wouldn't want him in the starting lineup!
Have we heard anything definitive on Cheyrou/Bradley? Or if either of Altidore/Ricketts could start?
Bradley starting in this game would be massive. NER lives in that pocket in front of the back 4 - a steady head back there would be really helpful. I'm still a bit unsure of our shape and coverage over the last couple of games. Would be nice to steady things at the DM.
Due to injuries and work load, I'm projecting TFC to start in a 5-3-2, with three CBs. No guarantees, but TFC worked on it in training this week.

I'm always hopeful, but I think today is going to be a tough one. A couple of key players still missing, others not at 100%, and the 3rd game in 6 days. Plus we're facing Kei Kamara, who isn't going to miss as many sitters as RSL, Columbus or DC in the most recent games.
Even if we still have to play many of the young guys, if the whole team can be bit more focussed than they have been at times in the recent games, we still have a good chance. For example, I'm just remembering a few balls Bono kicked out the touchline vs. Columbus, and similar unforced errors by various TFC players in the past 3-4 games. If Vanney & the boys find the right mentality to avoid more of those silly mistakes, that will improve our odds.
I think it depends on how we lineup, who's playing above him (I.E. in midfield with him) and who our opponent is. NE, for instance, plays a very particular style of game that makes Cheyrou very vulnerable at the base of the midfield. Puts too much pressure on him to do a lot of running and scrambling that I don't think he can handle anymore.
In theory you'd want to have him out there in our best 11, but these are the types of match ups we're going to have to be conscious of come playoff time. They'll matter a lot. Still a very useful guy to have on the roster though.
I don't know about anyone else but after Kamara's wining last year, I just don't like to see him do well. Not nice, I know, but he just bugs me.
