When in doubt, just punt and see what happens? I'll take it. lol

Nice! Hard to argue with speed. They just couldn't handle that pace.

Nice to also see Altidore playing the classic target man there.

That's two consecutive goals that were a direct result of Jozy laying off long balls brilliantly.

What the hell was Moor thinking with that clearance. I would yell at a u12 defender for doing something that stupid.

And now we are trying to lose points. Just absorbing pressure and not keeping possession or going after the extra goal.

I feel like Marky D has improved tons in the last year and even Chapman a bit but Oso has remained frustratingly stagnant.

I'll take it. Consider us lucky though. Didn't think the players played well or coach made the right adjustments.

Good finish by Ricketts, couple of exceptional saves by Bono... Three straight, and a good run of home games in the second half of the season.

    Dare to dream, boys.

RSL wasn't too good either. Beckerman was bad on the ball in the second half. One thing we did well was keeping a lid on Plata.

That 2nd half foot clearance by Bono, that should be up for save of the week.

Clean sheet on short rest, using a midfield full of kids, and a game-winning goal engineered by two subs that was neither scored nor assisted by Giovinco. Please insert your Vanney praise below in an orderly fashion.

We got dominated in the midfield in the first half, which is understandable considering the disparity in experience and talent between both sides. However, I thought we came out strong in the second half and dictated the play for the rest of the match. The substitutions were well timed and were the key to victory. Ricketts has been a pleasant surprise.

Bono is starting to show why he was a highly touted NCAA prospect. He was stellar tonight and fully deserving of his third clean sheet this season.

Well said. But don't expect much credit for Vanney or anyone else around here judging by some of the previous comments.
We didn't play the best of games but we won when it mattered against a tough opponent, that should be enough to take some satisfaction. 9pts out of the first 3 homes games, what more do some of you want....seriously. Just enjoy it for a moment everyone and stop always being so negative.

Man, dunno what game you guys were watching. Live, TFC were full value for the win.

Osorio needs more confidence going forward. Last 20 minutes the defensive effort could be better. But possession was good, anticipation was good (interceptions especially).

    Tosaint fucking Ricketts.

    That is all.

TFC won a game keeping a clean sheet when Giovinco had a horrid game. Ugly game in many parts, but I'll take it, considering TFC would have lost this game last season.

    The ref was a shit
The young midfield made a lot of mental mistakes.
    Bono played well.
My section was full of annoying tourists.
I can't believe I have to work tomorrow.
    Seba had a poor game.

    BUT

Ricketts and Altidore and Seba are the best front 3 in the league.

    And we won.

    Roll on Saturday.

It's very early but maybe my Ricketts bashing was off base. Maybe this league is his speed.

And people here were writing off Ricketts before he even played a full game .
