LOL...although I think the correct pronunciation is more like Sonny Bono, so, throw some "I Got You Babe" lines in there.

That was magnificent my friend. Perhaps you should get on your boots and play in this match, although I suspect you would need to take a miracle drug in order for that to happen

I don't think I've ever felt this confident about a result going into a game vs Columbus. I know that is just asking to get burned, but there it is.

I keep forgetting to tweet a bad joke about "Bono having a bit of an edge" every time he whiffs on a cross.

Done cause I got nothing better to do for 15 seconds.

But twitter polls are notoriously inaccurate statistically and anybody who takes the results seriously needs to retake math.

Agreed! I put in the vote, and, left a tweet "Argos at 29%...didn't realise 60-80 year olds used twitter"

Anywho...back to match discussion. Expecting another positive result. Hopefully Ricketts and Altidore can inject some more of that energy/chaos into this match. Seba has a taste for it, again, plus only played 30 minutes in the all star game...should still have plenty of energy. Three games in seven nights, so, Vanney will definitely need to use the bench wisely this week.

Weather Network saying the rain will stop around 5. Light winds out of the North and around 22.

    We'll see.

Ricketts is worthy of a 90 minute start, and hopefully he has fine tuned his finishing.

    Endoh should be dropped.

That's about as fine as his finishing can get.

    That's a big problem, he's been a rock since Bradley's been out.

Accidently removed my reply (smh) but I hope Cheyrou doesn't follow the same path as Perquis's exit.

So the midfield will consist of a mixture of Chapman, Osorio, Delgado and Endoh

I'm thinking the 3-5-2 might come out again

Bradley back for Houston it seems.

Sucks that Cheyrou is likely out after how well he's been playing. This is why it's important to get Bradley and Johnson back, Cheyrou just can't handle all these minutes at his age.

Does Vanney really have the balls to bench Altidore over Hamilton if Hamilton stays in form?
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I read that and I just see Vanney saying Altidore is better but has to work his way into the squad fitness wise.

I suspect this means that Hamilton starts tomorrow, although I`d rather see Ricketts with his speed.

And if he does and Hamilton keeps Jozy benched for a significant portion of the season does that make Jozy expendable
