I love the 3-5-2, I hope they revert back to it, although I have my doubts that it can work in MLS. I feel like it requires IQ above Vanney and MLSers, but I hope I'm eventually proven wrong. Its not really something you just decide to play midseason either (I know they tried it out once in May).

A four-back is probably safest for now.

    Jozy on the bench.

I'd still like to see Giovinco actually at the top of the diamond

We did that last year and we were exposed. Ended up losing 4 in a row.

I think it could work if u put out three exceptional runners behind him. Something like Delgado (ew I know but he puts in a shift), Bradley and Johnson.

Any point in an away game in the West is a bonus. Get out healthy, work on the timing between players, Seba get off his slump, no red cards and if we can steal a point, cool.

I remember that, but our defensive infrastructure has totally changed and we've made upgrades in midfield to support.

The issue is that no one will be able to press the deep lying playmaker.

Giovinco in the refs ear for a solid minute after the non call.

He's getting hip checked with no calls?!?

Ref looks like he's going to let some rough play happen, so far. As long as he's consistent...

Another non-call on that take-down of Endoh. That was brutal.

Fuck, would these commentators actually speak about the fucking game?

I refuse to believe that the secret to success is to have 4 midfielders who can't run

That field is really really bad. Isn't the All Star game there in 2 weeks?

What is Oso good for besides passing? He's not even an amazing passer either, just pretty good by MLS standards. If this guy was from New York he'd be getting way more flack.

Williams was a solid depth pickup, especially considering how we got him.

Well we better get Altidore in the game then, because we're the smaller team.

The midfield may as not exist, they are just waltzing right through us.

Maybe 10-15? This field is bad, too, so I don't know if you put him out there with his hamstrings.
