Exactly. He started the game pretty neutral, but some of the stuff he said in the 2nd half was just way off base. No shit Dasovic, when Vancouver plays dumb-ass tricks like that in extra time, of course the ref should add another minute or so.

So happy it worked out this way. I hope Johnson is OK. The way they were mobbing him after the game, I guess it can't be that serious. Now he's walking. But I hope TFC brass don't consider this some great achievement. Much closer & luckier than it should have been. Lots of dumb decisions by players & the coaching staff. Even stupid things near the end, like Osorio and Hagglund pushing over Vancouver players trying to get the ball. That's only going to waste even more time.

This, then he left his leg under the goalie and nearly turned his knee inside out

Enjoy yourself Giovinco, it's even better than winning the Euro Cup!

The whining of Vancouver was seriously pissing me off. Hurtado constantly pushing people in the back while they were in the air heading balls, and then they all throw a fit when he gets called for it. Seriously STFU.

Hopefull ball played into the Vancouver box, Ousted and a defender both went for it, the defender backed into Ousted who could only punch it weakly rather than catch it (it should have been and easy take) The ball broke to Will Johnson who hit a rocket into the roof of the net, injuring his knee in the resulting collision with Ousted.

IN MID AIR! Through a CROWD! Almost put a hole in back of the net with that rocket.

TFC are in the CCL in 2017. Caps are in for 2016 from their win last season.

They changed the format to allow for a longer expanded tournament in the future.

100' loss to Orlando on a joke call, 94' win here... After the Euros, no one should be leaving TFC games early!

No that's for this year. TFC will be in *next* year's CCL.

And Robinson was asking the officials what accounted for the four minutes of added time.

Is the pressure getting to Robinson or something? He was whining all game about every little call. Don't remember him being so irritating.

    So happy for the win!

But Giovinco's body language is a bit concerning. Standing with the physio and not the rest of the team during celebrations.

What was better? Shutting Vancouver right up with that last-minute goal?

Or Teiter Tots & Co waiting in the rain in Montreal, cup practically guaranteed for them, but then not... ?

Robinson will always be our guy, so I will only say that there probably should have been 7 minutes added.

Not even close. Tonight is way better.

That "miracle in Montreal" was a bush league lay down, it never passed the smell test, for me.

I remember him being really annoying somewhere else in the past year or so, probably one of the MLS games.

He's tired and indicated a number of times during the celebration that he was dehydrated. When the cup went up, he was smiling and jumping up and down...now this.

This competition is a short one but its a grind over 4 games with travel and a lot of intensity and once you win, you celebrate.

He was right in there though when the cup was actually awarded, he looked genuinely happy. Plus the locker room scene.

I could see him having some conflicted feelings though. Busy stretch, long trips, multiple games on turf. Did you see the rug burns some of the guys had? Deep enough that they were bleeding. Giovinco also got stepped on & fouled a couple of times w/o calls especially near the beginning. He's missing some pretty easy shots, and the rest of the team is quite brain dead.

In between the TFC games, he's seeing & hearing all the Euro hype...

The fact that it was an ex-Timber with the winner makes this even better.
