Yeah, it's been slow today. Normally it's fine.

Is this Sutton's second job during the summer? Is he still head coach at Concordia?

    Not sure really...

According to Wiki yes: "On May 7, 2013, it was announced that Sutton would become the head coach of the Concordia University's men's soccer team.[11] He had been an assistant coach with the team since 2011."

Yeah, cuz no one else can hit a ball straight at a defender quite like Seba.

He's an amazing player and we're very lucky to have him, but give due credit to the rest of the roster. Even without him it's still a proper squad.

My stream is almost unwatchable (1/3 of the time is buffering), so I was multitasking while the game is on, watching just with "half eye", but what I understood is that the shitecaps had more chances. Maybe not?

Depends what you call chances. Neither team had much of anything going for it in that half.

    It was very tight.

Offensive pressure from both sides. Lot's of turnovers mostly from TFC.

Great defence from both sides also.

TFC scrambled and made very last minute defensive cover ups to save the game. *(I'd rather they not get to that point but will take the save in the end with a smile).

Vancouver weren't as fortunate as Seba made them pay on their scramble!

Strange, there is one with "sx" and one with "tv".

I'm trying now the 'tv" but it looks it's still always buffering.

I must admit, after watching so many Euro games these days in those superb stadiums, BMO looks very weird with that super high and open back canopy, and that one side open...

The hype has started with Davies. On the Voyageurs board, they say he has the moves of Pogba with the footwork of Hazard.

So far he has shown he isn't like your typical Canadian youth player who tend to have bad first touches, don't have enough football iq to be positioned properly and only have really 1 good attribute such as speed.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

His Technique, positional awareness and physical attributes are off the fucking charts for someone his age. I hate to hype up kids too early, especially a 15 year old, but this kid has got something special about him.

I think he is going to be traded. It makes no sense otherwise. ( reply to WTF Perquis?)

He had the one really bad game against the Whitecaps a month ago right before the first V-cup game. I thought he warranted being dropped for a game or two just for the sake of resting him - he's 32 now and he looked like he needed a break after that game - but not playing him in over a month seems like a lot. My theory is Vanney views a lot of these games as inconsequential in the grand scheme of things and is putting Zavaleta and Hagglund in the shop window right before the transfer window opens to boost their potential value.

Or Vanney dropped him because Vanney doesn't like what he's seeing out of him. Who's to say, really.

quite possible, all of it. But I like his passion and think we need that.
