Same, it doesn't make a ton of sense for him to not start in either game or not be on the bench yesterday.

Maybe he picked up a knock in training?

Knew this would happen ever since there was grass at BMO.

He hasn't played a min since the loss to the Red Bulls and has been playing cheerleader on instagram. For such a big ticket salary player, it's all very strange to me. No official announcement/declaration on him being injured or rested. Just stuff like the below, maybe they are holding him out of the team as he has a move lined up?

Yeah, I was. But in the end I thought he handled it well.

Would make sense and between him and Gomez we would have a fair amount of room to work with (prorated 500k ish?)

So this what Van city is doing in their 4 days in Toronto. Carl Robinson on TSN now as analyst with DeVos for Euros.

Wasn't there a rumor a little over a month ago about a lower table French team being interested in him?

I recall the Bordeaux rumor from the offseason but nothing more recent.

Ugh right when we finally have a stable back line...Perquis better not be going anywhere.

3 clean sheets out of 4 with Zavaleta in the lineup. That came after Perquis was poor against Vancouver and NYRB. We then have decent backups with Williams and Hagglund.

Maybe that was it. Seemed more recent to me for some reason.

If he goes, he goes. I won't be too upset about it. The understudies have all looked okay in their time out there which tells me the system is working and we don't need to rely on individuals alone anymore.

Agreed plus we could use the free cap space and any allocation that would come from a move. That MLS money would mean a lot more to this team in the second half than having a vet sitting on the bench.

That 2nd half was so so much better.

I also don't understand why Babouli gets piled on. He can actually work the ball out of an occasional 1 v 3 and draws a lot of opposition attention and takes away time with his hustle. Hate the hair, really starting to like the player.

How do people not show up to watch a cup final? That attendance was just depressing.

And this team needs to figure out a game plan on corners. They are blowing opportunity after opportunity without anything even remotely close to an attempt on goal. Giovinco's free kicks were finally starting to look a bit better tonight, but Babouli's corner delivery has looked a lot better. Bradley can't come back soon enough.

My only problem with him is that right there. Doing that is good of course but at the right times. Last night he tried it in the last 10 minutes, in the TFC end and lost the ball and gave up a scoring chance. It's all learning curve stuff but trying 1 v 3's in your own end while hanging on to an important clean sheet is not smart. But other than getting gassed fairly early in matches and the occasional bad decision, I rate him higher than all our other current home grown prospects. If he can ever manage to net a few goals then we'd be talking.

Agreed. Quite content with a Moor/Zavs partnership.

In the stadium, the attendance looked pretty good, particularly for a tuesday

Hagglund was excellent v Montreal in the first round. Including Drogba. He deserves a shot too.

I should have added "In advanced positions".

Agreed there is some maturing to do there that will lead to better decision making, hopefully.

Agreed. He's going to keep on getting better.

BTW, that was Fraser Aird! LOL

Had to watch on TSN and suffer through Vic Rauter.
    • TFC played a more attractive football than in the Galaxy game.
    • Lots of Croatia flags hijacking the occasion.

Wish I had the chance to toss Vic's or Devos' mic into the lake
