Shaping up to be a wild off season (nice that ours hasn't started yet). Will be very interesting to see how LAG proceeds in what is shaping into a complete staff and squad overhaul, especially with LAFC looming.

I had a good chuckle at that Gerrard coaching rumor.

At about 8:45 in this video, Sharman asks Bradley about how to build a team - really interesting answer.

I thought they said it wasn't legally possible to do this? Yet they are able to do a watered down version of it?

Why aren't older players included in this as well? I am sure many members of the CMNT won't qualify, and with other Canadian talent.

Its a huge step that they are doing this. But not sure why they needed to water it down, instead of letting ALL canadian talent be counted as domestic.

Good column from Doyle. Shows the degree to which we've invested in Homegrown talent, another way this FO has performed above and beyond expectation.

What a change from the past, when we usually had a ton of international players, often crap and/or expensive.

Orlando's supporters section is looking good so far. I wonder if BMO will have safe standing in the near future..

I have to admit, I'm really digging the purple colour they've used for the seats anduniforms. I think it really provides a distinctive look compared to the rest of the league.

Man, that safe standing section is going to be impressive. I'm curious to know what the two open sections are in the middle, or if that is just construction access and will have stands built there later.

Was there any movement from any SGs to add safe standing pre Argos? During the playoffs the south end looked packed.

It will probably be for any disabled supporters (i.e wheelchairs)

TFC ranked 14th most valuable team in North and South America
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Above Boca, River Plate and Penarol etc? Amazed (and chuffed) if that is genuinely the case.

They are members clubs full of debt that literally can't be bought - pointless to put a valuation on them and in a list like this.

Then the list is pointless if that is the case.

I would rank teams by payroll. It's a far more meaningful measure of importance than these essentially fictitious market value claims.

For those wondering about the affect of the Chinese Super League, apparently there is a jouno who has covered Asian football for a long time who has opinions on all that.

You know, I like NWSL and all, and would welcome a team in Toronto, whether TFC involved or not.

But Vancouver ditching their USL team to grab an NWSL one makes no sense fiscally or operationally.

Unless it's being moved to Victoria as the basis of a CPL team and renamed. Kind of like how the Fury have an affiliation with the Impact now.
