Babouli has been all up in Columbus' face this match.

Babouli is doing some good work.

I question whether putting an inexperienced player in the centre of midfield ever works (especially if it's not his natural position). They need to make life easier to chapman if he's going to contribute

Babouli is trying too hard to make that highlight reel play...just keep it simple.
Chapman looks like a child playing among men. he's only comfortable passing back and seems afraid to get the ball on the attack.

Chapman really blew the pass from Seba with the defenders back turned to him. One touch is all he needed.

    Yay, I woke up.

Seems like I haven't missed much. Though I'm actually kind of happy not to see Endoh playing. He really hasn't done much the last few games (other than scoring that goal).

When I posted before last match that I liked the idea of a 3-5-2, I didn't think Vanney would actually implement it in the following match. Credit to him, he's trying to use what he has to work with.

I like what Babouli has been doing. Not perfect by any means but the kid wants to play and can really become a handful when he harnesses his natural abilities.

He adds some creativity and spark that we lack going forward. Would like to see what kind of chemistry he could build with Babouli.

You know what I don't get? How Zavaleta gets games ahead of Hagglund, who has actually shown well for TFC II.

Poor first half. Columbus are the more dangerous side and look more likely to score. Our transition is laboured and we need to try and get the ball forward more quickly

I agree. He is looking like he might be a very useful player with a bit more experience and getting to know his teammates.

I don't think it's nepotism. Zavaleta is better with the ball at his feet than Hagglund, which is really useful in our system.

I would be quite surprised to see Osorio this game. He looked quite hurt when he went off last game.

Is he even on the bench for this one?

He is, but I was thinking the same thing. He might be there as a last resort, but he can't be ready to play considering the injury he took. Maybe he recovered well?

I don't know ... I think you're right. He's probably just there to fill the spot.

    Or not ...

I guess if you're going to bring him in, halftime makes sense so that if he does aggravate his ankle, you can sub him out later more easily.

But then you've basically wasted 2 subs.

At least we know Williams is a very serviceable backup.
