Train service on the entire Lakeshore East line will be reduced from every 30 minutes to every hour the long weekend of May 21 - 23, 2016 as we continue to upgrade Guildwood GO Station to make it more convenient for customers to access the station and GO services:

• Eastbound trains will depart Union Station only at 13 minutes past each hour and all trains that usually depart Union Station at 43 minutes past each hour will be cancelled.
• Westbound trains will depart Oshawa station only at 41 minutes past each hour and all trains that usually depart Oshawa station at 11 minutes past each hour will be cancelled.

Due to road and track work being done by the Town of Oakville on Fourth Line near Speers Road, Lakeshore West GO Train service will be reduced from every 30 minutes to hourly between Oakville and Aldershot the evening of May 20, and all day May 21 through 23.
Friday, May 20:

• Eastbound trips that usually depart Aldershot at 8:31 p.m. and 9:31 p.m. will be cancelled between Aldershot and Oakville.
• Westbound trips that depart Union Station at 7:13 p.m., 8:13 p.m., 9:13 p.m., 10:13 p.m. and 11:13 p.m. will end at Oakville.

Saturday, May 21, through Monday, May 23:

• Eastbound trips that usually depart Aldershot at 31 minutes past the hour will be cancelled between Aldershot and Oakville.
• Westbound trips that depart Union Station at 13 minutes past the hour will end at Oakville.

How safe is it to lock up my expensive bike to the gate at BMO? Are there cops walking around that area during the game?

I've never had any problems. I always use two locks. Cops won't be watching specifically, but if you lock to gate or something sturdy in an area that's busy, nobody is going to whip out a rechargeable angle grinder to crack your u-lock.

I also have an extra ticket in section 224, row 9. $50 OBO

You honestly didn't expect the planners to actually plan properly. I mean this is Toronto and the Government of Ontario we are talking about, they couldn't plan a " Piss up in a brewery FFS"

A few things about all this that bugs me

a) GO is laying on extra trains for Blue Jays weekend games and for the Beyonce concert - fair enough as those crowds are in excess of 50K.

b) After our games we got a few GO transit cops and a few city cops standing around making sure nobody goes gaga as 10K or so try to take the underpass towards Liberty Village because the TTC had to do track work on the exhibition loop. (At least on Wednesday they finally put in temp crash barriers so the taxis and stupid people trying to drive through that mess didn't hold up things)

c) there is absolutely NO way finding signage about how to take buses out of the Ex now. None.

Do people know there is a Dufferin bus out of the loop to the West?
Do people know there is now a streetcar every half hour out of that loop that runs on King?
Do people know there are shuttle buses taking people out near the east end to Fleet and Bathurst?
Of course not cause there is no freaking signage.
So we end up with 10K trying to mash their way north to and through Liberty Village.



The only saving grace in all this is by next year this all should be done and we will be back to watching people jump the cue to board streetcars where they are letting people off while the rest of us who go to the place where we have been told to lineup watch said streetcars go by, all under the watchful eye of one supervisor who spends most of his or her time trying to make sure people don't stand on the rails and get run over.

No Finlay or Kamara, as long as Bradley and Johnson can contain Higuain we should be okay defensively. Not sure how we'll look going forward with this 3-5-2 set-up. This will be a good test for Chapman.

Perquis has been one of the teams best players this year. His pass to Giovinco resulting in that highlight reel goal, was excellent. He makes fewer mistakes than Moor, but is given little notice or credit. And, he is better than the guy who is replacing him.
