Agent knows where the money is.
Two things today
Kaka calling it quits after 2017
Keane not to Vancouver.
don't know why keane to vancouver was a rumour. He complains about the pitch their every year and got hurt there last game IIRC.
judging from southsiders forum their ownership has been eating loses year after year, and won't spend (... although BL and Robbo state the opposite publicly)

Howard Webb in the running to be the guy at the command centre telling refs something wasn't done right.

Well that didn't take long

Anyone else worried that LA Galaxy might go for Vanney?
LAG is going through transition and anybody who follows Arena is going to be under a lot of scrutiny. If Vanney is likely to go somewhere in the future, its either because he's fired or he moves to the USMNT. He's being talked about as an option after 2022.
More anti MLS rhetoric, this time from Uli Hoeness, Bayern Muich president. Here he is discussing Schweinsteiger possibly coming to mls next season.
"After such a brilliant career, a player like him shouldn't see out his career in a place like America. For me, America simply isn't an alternative for a player of his calibre.
Word coming out of Argentina that Atlanta have bought Paraguayan international Miguel Almiron from Lanus for $13M. Kids a baller and was linked with Napoli and Arsenal before the last transfer window closed.
Would be an MLS transfer record.
Still stinging from the all-star game, eh? Sensitive lads.
Saw this today. Took him awhile to get there, but....
SKC signedM Tyler PasherandGK Adrian Zendejasto MLS contracts on Dec. 2, marking the first two players to be promoted from Swope Park Rangers, the club's USL reserve side.
LAG are going to be under some pressure from LAFC when they come into the league and if they don't get the next hire right, they'll be in a world of hurt out in Carson while LAFC are almost downtown in a shiny new stadium and a much bigger reach to potential fans.
Also, looks like Swiss international midfielder Blerim Dzemaili will join Montreal Impact as a DP in 2017 (French). Piatti confirmed he'll be back next season as well.
MLS site has a decent enough tracker on all the teams moves, including rumours.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
2017 related: Grant Wahl just reported that 2017 TAM will go up by $400,000 per team.
Not bad. Bez in theory should be sitting on at least 1.2m in TAM next season. In the next week, MLS is expected to announce an $8.8 million increase in Targeted Allocation Money over what had been previously earmarked for 2017. That’s an increase of $400,000 per team to $1.2 million per team of TAM for next season.
Total TAM money for 2016 and ’17 has thus been increased from $33.6 million to $42.4 million league-wide beyond the money committed by the owners in the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Dzemaili will be joining the Limp Act as a multi-year DP in June from ... Bologna. Had figured he was one of the likeliest names on Bologna's roster. Quality all-round midfielder, and at just 30, has some good years left.
Reckon captain Gastaldello is next.
As suspected when he bought them, the Impact turning into the Stinky Cheese Man's refuse pile for Bologna contracts he'd rather not pay for. Guy complained about TFC spending money this week. Wrong side of 30 for a multi year DP there Joey.
Sean Johnson to NYCFC.
Only thing that slightly changes for the Pigeons is he seems to be willing to play out of the back - problem is he's not very good at it.
How about Atlanta? No one is talking about there DP signings but, Tata has 3 young and promising DPS. Are they competitive Year 1? If so how competitive?
Chicago getting themselves a really good striker in Nikolic.
Now if they got someone besides Accam to give him service, the Fire might be a strong team to look at offensively.

Now this is a good pickup and exactly where MLS teams should be finding players.

MLS should be the port of call for any non Mexican or European league CONCACAF NT starters.
