Yeah, I get the whole "touches the ball first on a tackle" thing that I've come to learn is a part of the game of soccer/football (my knowledge is still only a few years), but just because the defender touches the ball first, doesn't mean the rest of his tackle/follow through wasn't reckless.

I just finished watching the condensed match. Wow Unkle made some really bad calls.

Both teams didn't look very good though. It was tough for either team to string together a good run of passes. Finishing was poor for both. Glad I didn't watch all 90 mins.

I haven't even seen it myself yet but apparently Columbus won a PK and Higuain refused to let Kamara take it (even though Kamara is now the designated penalty taker for the Crew and he was on a hat trick). As in physically refused to give him the ball and ignored Finlay when he came over to try to reason with him, then Parkhurst had to come in and separate them. Way beyond what we saw with Gilberto and Defoe. Kamara's quotes after the game are crazy. He actually blamed Higuain for losing the Golden Boot last year (since Higuain was taking the PKs last year).

Columbus might be imploding. Reports of fighting between teammates in training too. And I'm not surprised Kamara's attitude is causing problems after he demanded a pay raise from his already DP contract after last year... it was probably the fact that Higuain makes more that was getting to him in the first place.
