Cool Home opener 2016 - March to the Match

It's almost here folks. All roads lead to BMO on Saturday evening. March there with supporters!

Reconnect and get hyped with old and new friends at Joe's and then head to the streets where we'll join other SGs along the way warming up our vocal chords and making our long awaited arrival back at home again!

Get involved - spread the word to one and all to join in.

1189 King St West. All roads ppl.

I'm pretty sure that TFC planned a march starting at Brazen Head to BMO. Not sure what time the thing starts though..

    According to the email

The march begins at 6:30PM from Brazen Head! Make sure you join Shari & Dwayne De Rosario before hand for the pre-match party.

Never understood why TFC head office and the various supporters groups have separate marches...how epic would it be to have one huge march each game! Now that would get noticed, no other teams in Ontario do supporters marches!

Because SG don't want marching bands and cheerleader on top of the hassle of working with the FO on a March.

They are essentially a group of people walking to the game.

Remember the Bez and Budweiser Band that lead one two falls ago? Fucking #puke. Killed any urge to ever go in a march again. N

I've heard there's a march from Shoeless Joe's but the main one is from Brazen Head. They have a parking lot party followed by the march to BMO at 6:30. DeRo will be there aswell

The march from Brazen Head is a corporate march.

Yep it is essentially herding people from 1 bud sponsored event to another, if you want an actual march atmosphere then the one from Joes is the way to go.

They've offered and even marched with us before, we've declined for home openers.

Have you marched in both? There is an obvious distinction in participation between the 2.

I may wrong, but won't all the supporters groups be meeting up and marching to BMO together?

SGs are meeting along the way, yes. We have our time and corporate has theirs.

Cool, makes sense now, never been to the corporate march, just thought of it as more bodies and voices but I hear you guys about authenticity. As long as all the supporters march together it's all good.

I can guarantee, marching with the SG's is more fun and a better experience.

Anyone finding the irony in "mistercorporate" not seeing the difference between a SG march to from a corporate sponsored march?

Most go back to the pub, RPB are at Joes and other groups go back to various bars. A number of good spots in the area depending on weather and what you are looking for, the one place I would avoid is brazen head as the staff always seam to be shocked that tfc fans want beer and food in a timely manner both before and after the game.

Would be really tough to say as I imagine most have their spot and haven't experienced most of the potential spots. If you like Joes pregame it's pretty similar post game from my few experiences, if not then you have a couple other supporter spots (Joker, Locus144) or any of the other bars in the area should be filled with TFC fans.

People actually go to the corporate marches? I honestly always thought those people were being paid/sponsors
