Bono on the bench for Montreal tomorrow then I assume.

Glad to see Chapman and Hamilton loaned down, both need playing time as well.

Raheem Edwards with a great goal. That's 4 goals in 4 games for him this season. Nice ball from Mannella.

Ex-TFC curse exists at USL level too. Morgan misjudged a header, whiffed on it, and Wiedeman had an easy finish at the back post.

Another goal for Cincinnati and they win 2-1. TFC II looks pretty good going forward but the defending needs improvement.

Hamilton didn't get too much to do off the bench but he looked good on the ball with what he got. Chapman had some good moments on the ball as well. Edwards was good again (Dunfield mentioned during the game that Vanney had him training with the first team this week) and so was Malik Johnson. He's one to keep an eye on for the future, he's got a nice touch and quick feet, good in tight spaces and difficult to tackle cleanly.

TFC II vs. Richmond Kickers at 7pm.

First start of the year for Hamilton, Uccello returns from injury as he makes the bench. Midfield a little light as Mannella and Chapman are with the first team.

TFC 2 got back into the game towards the end of the 2nd half, but were bossed around for most of the game.

jordan Hamilton was a complete non factor.

is it just me or did Edwards become a full grown man over night?

He seems to have lost himself on the way to the airport for that trip to Portugal.

TFC II going for the win tomorrow night I guess, haha. 8 players loaned down: Roberts, Bloom, Hagglund, Zavaleta, Mannella, Lovitz, Chapman, Babouli.

Concerning the amount of juggling being done. I understand these groups are multi purpose but we need to allow some people to step in and develop.

Ultimately as a prospect you have to grab your chances and make the first 11 any way you can.

Hope the big team does not get any major injuries because there is nothing on TFC 2 that can help the 1st team. Haglund, Zaveleta , Chapman, Babouli , Manella , Lovitz and Bloom all playing for TFC 2 and TFC 2 losing 2-0 and not one of those guys has looked like 1st team players, these guys don't look like very good USL players never mind the MLS. Pretty worrisome IMO these guys are the first team's bench and should be showing better than they have tonight and other games they have played for TFC2.

TFC & TFC 2 didn't want him like many other L1O players who were released. He done well to get into a good team

TFC2 with two mistakes that gave away the win. Not a great showing by them IMO.

Where was Hamilton? Not even in this team !! Huh !!

It sounded like the game was pretty ugly to watch. Anyone actually go to watch?

I thought Babouli was good playing out of position. Lovitz as well at LB. I'm not really worried because most of those guys fill the 18-28 slots on our team. My worry is that none of our homegrowns with MLS contracts are kicking on and improving. Mannella still turns over the ball in bad positions. Chapman's passing and product in the final third is bad for an attacking player, Q can't command his own box, Hamilton?? They all seem to be regressing. I'm not sure if this is on Bent, poor talent identification or because these guys were signed before TFC 2 existed. I think Bez needs to look at this in the offseason and maybe open up spots for guys like Sky, Raheem and maybe Bouchard. Players that can play at USL level and possibly kick on to better things.

We should be looking at these guys as 3 year projects.

By all accounts Skylar Thomas is progressing within that time frame. And he usually plays no matter who TFC brings down.

I thought the team looked disjointed. Half the players seemed to be a step behind and the other half looked okay.

I think the amount of shuffling in the lineup lately is detrimental.

I agree, this player shuffling seems very counterproductive to me and seems bound to be frustrating for both the senior players sent over and the players with TFC II contracts.

Just goes to show how "NOT" serious TFC are about a USL team. It appears that it's there to get players fit after recovery and give non 1st team players pitch time

What Toronto really needed is a non TFC affiliated USL team

I had high hopes that TFC wouldn't treat USL just as a reserve team league but as a serious separate competition in it own right. That said, seems most MLS teams are doing the same as TFC. Could see non-MLS owned teams calling time on this eventually and leaving, or pushing USL to tighten roster rules.
