Probably the happiest I've ever been after a loss. We played well, didn't go our way tonight but encouraging for the rest of the year.
17 hour drive back to T.O.
When evaluating Vanney remember how the refs miscalls impacted our record according to MLS we're 1-1-1 but in reality we should be 2-1-0. So in my mind Vanney is 1 point from making this road trip a success
I thought it was a good game. Altidore, Johnson, Bradley played well as on-field leaders. Babouli showed flashes of greatness to come and a little overambitiousness. Endoh has some learning to do, but can't be faulted for his work rate and effort.
It was SKC at their home on our third away game with a completely re-vamped back end to the team. There's a lot to be pleased about. We could have nicked a point, but we didn't but not for lack of effort or competence. This is a good sign for where we can go and there's a lot of positives to take away.
Brad Davis, POS!
Balermo Toledo, POS!
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
Perquis had a standout performance today, our best player on the field
Entertaining game. They didn't quit and if it weren't for the non call and some misses, it'd have been a win.
Fair non-call. As a defender, when you go to ground like a sissy you depend on the ref giving you the benefit of the doubt. If it doesn't come then you only have yourself to blame. It probably was a modern day foul but maybe next time Morrow will actually try to compete. He could have easily stayed on his feet and cleared that ball. I thought Toledo was spot on today, minus that red card. It's a physical league and he, for the most part, let it be so.
Saw some things I liked today, some things I didn't but such is the nature of early season road trips. They kept it real close against a very good team so I'm content with the way things unfolded.

C'mon? Really? We're going to blame the loss on Toledo? It was a call that, only when slowed down looked clear. It was a questionable call, but not a horrific one (unless you have replay). If we're so fragile that a call like that is the difference between success and failure the answer is: we're a failure. I don't buy it.
Those calls will come and we'll get a few too. We've had far worse -- and from Toledo, too -- but that wasn't one of the bad ones. It was incorrect, but just barely.
Let's just move on. Despite some people's poo coloured glasses this was definitely a performance worth noting.
If we plays this well on our remaining road games points will follow.
cant agree with that. It was a typical professional foul from a deliberate cheater that a referee has to call. And in full speed a referee has to see it because as soon the arm is bent its gonna be a foul. Sorry, but can't accept you apologies for the ref. Easy call, basic rule. Not rugby.
We played very well, disciplined, organized, and occasionally creative. Deserved better. Very good performance, very encouraged about this team.
SKC played super cautious. Vermes made it a priority to shut down service to Giovinco. TFC did much the same to Dwyer. Irwin is definitely an upgrade.
Colorado up next. They've had a bright start but I'd expect a big win. TFC showed they almost could grind out a draw to a very good team. Let's see if they can get a dominant win over a middling team.
Babouli needs to stop being a show pony but other than that he had an excellent debut. I see him developing into an excellent player, id rather see him on the pitch than osorio from a creative standpoint.
Babouli looks promising, Giovinco didn't play his best according to his standards, Toledo lost the game after douchebag Davis played on the Cheyrou injury.
Should've been a 1-1 game, entertaining game, can't wait for the next one.
