I figured Edwards had been signed since he just played in a league game but apparently this is a " MLS" situation.

danny graham has been released by Sunderland, he has 1 goal in 37 apperances, slightly better than Altidores 1 in 42 for them. worth a punt lol.

    Already signed for Sheffield Wednesday.

Also, I believe Edwards got in on the extreme hardship rule. Similar to how LA pulled up some USL lads last season.

Awesome, I hope he never scores and we pay way too much for him! Would fit the MLSE mould perfectly 👍

Ricketts signing should be scraped JHams has shown that he's more than ready for a bigger role on this team

Jhams has shown up. I've been critical but he's doing a decent job.

    PLEASE DON'T SIGN RICKETTS.

    What an utterly pointless move.

I truely hope whoever is the catalyst of this gets roundly roasted when it predictably does not work out.

Fact of the matter is we need an experienced depth guy at forward and a direct winger on the right side when we go with the 4-3-3. We know what he brings to the table.the value of this will depend entirely on what he's signed for. Considering where he's played recently, I doubt he'll be on a very big contract.

Turns out Edwards was allowed to play under the extreme hardship rule.

I was thinking the same thing, perhaps he fits the bill for a winger in the 4-3-3 we seem to be building towards. What are his assist stats like?

They showed players in the box during the game. There was a guy with a beard I didn't recognise.

Not a lock by any means.

Wow, hold on to those bitter Canada thoughts. It's not like there's hasn't been players that weren't positive signings for this team.

It also doesn't mean their not looking at other moves. We just hear these moves first because they are easier. NBD.

He's worse than Robbie Findley who we dumped for salary reasons and generally wasn't effective. How is this helping the cause? What exactly does he bring to the table?

He should try Ottawa or Edmonton.

Bez probly feels bad not signing Ricketts at this point after he's been training with the team for so long ..

Obviously a terrible signing. Not only is he mediocre at best but he'll also miss games due to CMNT duty

I wonder if the people calling the Ricketts signing terrible are the same ones that wanted Hamilton released before he got his opportunity.

Depending on cost, i'm not opposed to Ricketts. I don't see why he can't have an Oduro-like impact against MLS defenders. At the very least it should stretch opposing teams wider to open up some space for our other attackers.

He was on the sideline before the game talking to Manning (or was that Tannenbaum). In slacks and a black shirt.

Perquis rumours dead now? (He was mighty fine last night except for that goal)
