Well, at least we can officially count on Seba to steal us some points next month.

I don't really follow Serie A, but wow, what a no-name roster.

Sad for Seba.
“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
Initial first hour reaction is Conte made some weird choices and Seba being left off is only one of them. In that light, the "Seba will be ticked and want to go to Europe to claim his rightful place in the Azzuri" twittersphere messages should be taken with a Margarita.
yeah its probably tough for him, but for followers of Serie A, its not quite at all a no-name roster....I was a bit surprised with some other players in Serie A who were left off as well like Berardi and Saponara.....it will be a young team with lots on new players getting their first international crack in a tournament.....
that's actually a great point....
and when you think about it, he was not a guy Conte looked at to make a difference when they were at Juve either....he could just not like Giovinco much.....
if anybody is interested Ricketts is still in camp,im sure Bez will sign him to a 300k a year 3 yr contract
Please please please don't sign Ricketts. I've just never been a fan of his and I don't see him being any help to this team.

Kranjcar available in the summer. Not that we have the cap space to afford him. would solve that playmaker problem
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

MLS & the Cosmos?
Both sides would slink away from that deal with a lot of personal shame.
Having watched him a lot at QPR, i'd take a pass.
New trial thread for banter not related to transfer rumours (thanks to MartinUtd for the suggestion): http://forums.redpatchboys.ca/showth...TFC-MLS-banter
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Spitballing here but with Coyle out I wonder if Will Bruin could be pried out of Houston in a trade???
I'd bet whoever they hire to replace Coyle will be told to get the best out of Cubo and it could make Bruin expendable.
Bez and Houston have been good trading partners before...
Was just browsing a Rangers (Glasgow) rumour site and someone had posted about hearing rumours of interest in Jozy. The head coach has been in NA trying to sign Kranjcar and scout some others but there's no way they will be able to afford Jozy on his current wages. A few people replied back with the latest MLS pay roll info and people couldn't believe the wages and thought it must be an error lol. Anyway, thought it was funny and worth sharing.
Probably all stemmed from this

Which site was it on BTW, wouldn't mind having a read.
I'm a Celtic fan - this would be almost as good as watching the Scottish Cup final last weekend. The previous Ranger's had an history of signing injury prone stars.
There is no way they have the money to sign him though.
Bright Dike is unattached, wouldn't mind him on a non-guaranteed contract
I think it's time TFC stopped wasting money on DP's and just go out there and concentrate on getting a well balanced team, a team with proper depth a well rounded team, because this team as it stands now has barely enough good players for a decent starting 11. In terms of stadium attendance it will not make a difference people will show up regardless, a good portion of people that attend are casuals anyways and could not care less who is on the field or the result, I mean just look at how many people get to the game late and how half the stadium leaves at about the 75th. minute no matter the score. Just look at the people who leave early once they leave they don't even look at the field even when there is a TFC scoring chance, they just keep walking oblivious to the game, therefore, no need to get the big names to attract the fans, the casuals will always come, however, the hardcore will stop coming eventually if this club is not turned around and they would rather have a winning well rounded team than a few big stars on a crappy team not contending.
I remain in the camp that the Herc move really cost us. I think this will be addressed in the summer window and I could see Delgado being the odd man out who could realistically fetch the most to get us a quality MLS player in return or T/GAM to give us wiggle room to bring in a striker from elsewhere. If we want a more balanced team than the club also should decide which of Zabaleta or Hagglund to sacrifice for a player further up the field.
Keep Bradley and Giovinco, sell Altidore and get someone who isn't country tied or as injury prone.
My concern is they are going to react and take Ricketts on the cheap - he can't score either.
Wait until July, spend the cap space that opens up.
So why are casuals coming? Is it all the new stadium?
I disagree.
"Just go get a well rounded team". I didn't realize we could buy in a batch like that. What do you think led us to the quick pick up of overpaid DP's in the first place?
Where would you ACTUALLY start with aquisitions? One name, big or small.
