From the video/photos of TFC Training session today, they are wearing a light grey jersey with stripes down the torso. No stripes on the shoulders.
May just be the training top. But I have feeling the new 2nd kit will have the stripes down the torso as well.
let's not say things we can't take back, last TFC shirt I bought was our collared number!

Speaking for myself, the red on white never sparked an interest for me.
Guess we'll just have to see.
Whats happening with the sponsor??
NYCFC and San Jose jerseys have leaked in the last couple of days, can't be too far off the TFC one leaking.
Love the Academy badge, as is—very reminiscent of that for Die Mannschaft.
If I'm being picky, I don't like having the various bordering rings the same colour as the text/image(s) they border.
This minor tweak, for me, has a better balance to it, with the added bonus of the red remaining dominant, without coming off as forced; also thought the "T" should stand out a bit more (original on the right, for comparison):
Also makes for a much stronger thumbnail-size picture, as well as how it appears at a distance (on the kits), due to the onyx:
As others have said, I'd not like to see our badge changed in the near future, but, especially if/once our academy grads really become a staple of the first team, I'd not mind moving towards something like this, marking 20/25 years.
right. I still don't think that's our legal name.
But they do have legal use of it by the looks of it, so doesn't really matter right
Well unless they change our official name, it would be weird for us to have it on our senior team jerseys. That was my point.
See, people have been saying that for a decade now but I don't really get the reasoning behind it. You're right in that originally Toronto FC was simply the trademarked brand for the entity, but it's long since evolved. And with that in mind, shouldn't the organization itself be the arbiter of it's own name? If the team wants to call itself Toronto Football Club, what sort of argument could one use to make them stop or change it? TFC may be a franchise of Major League Soccer, but I don't see how that negates any name the team creates for itself.

Did the USA , of all countries, just fix soccer? - C. Ronaldo, May 27th commenting on the FBI-led investigations into fraud and corruption throughout FIFA.
I think in the olden days it was just assumed that, for example, Everton football club would have the name Everton FC or Sunderland association football club was Sunderland AFC. The name situation with TFC reminds me a bit of RB Leipzig where the RB is supposed to be Red Bull but officially stands for RasenBallsport.
Well part of it is we're not actually a "club" in the european sporting sense of the word. That involves a particular type of either fan engagement with the running of the club or fan ownership in general, along with the club being an entity by itself, and not one of twenty teams owned by a league and therefore under it's thumb. At the end of the day, we are a franchise and the League can do what they want with us. Being that we're not actually a club in the traditional sense of the word, that would be the greatest argument against us using that name.
I wish it wasn't the case. The idea of franchises makes me kind of sick.
New TFC FB post, see obvious references to Metros-Croatia
Like that a lot. could see us going for a sort of 'celebration of Toronto football' theme for our 10th season this year.
off topic... that metros croatia champ team was the best team ive have ever seen in toronto.
I find the idea really interesting but I wonder of serbian white eagle fans would see this as divisive? Just throwing it out .. I really don't know much about the serbian/ croat communities in Toronto
This one would be different: http://www.footyheadlines.com/2015/1...by-franco.html
This is a thing http://toronto-mp7static.mlsdigital...._2400x1500.jpg
I see the Toronto Falcons in that too
I find it interesting that the only player featured besides the 3 DP's is Osorio (at least that I noticed).
That should tell you how big a part of this club he is seen as going forward.
(Along with year-end comments he made himself about taking the next step this upcoming season and becoming one of the leaders here)
This is supposedly the new Caps away, i'd love a button up collar like this...
Not bad. Not a fan of the ribbed sleeves and it's a little odd the way the lines don't match up but it gives me hope we will get something half decent and not just plain white. I like those button up collars too. An onyx to white gradient would be interesting.
