Black might not be featured on the jersey. The colour on the new shoulder patch only features white, blue, and red so the chances of black being used are slim. Take a look

It does conform to the new adidas styles for this season.
It looks really sharp if you ask me. The blue line fits well and for a jersey that is predominantly white, it doesn't look empty at all. It looks diffrent but it still looks like TFC. Can't wait to see the lads wear this !

I find it hard to believe the image is real. Toronto Sun has a very close working relationship with TFC, and I would think that the club would be pretty pissed off at them if they leaked the jersey before an official unveil!

To be fair, the drama wasn't about a blue stripe, it was about the blizzard throw back. So happy TFC didn't actually go that route.
just to clarify though... I'm still not a fan of the blue. I get that selling kits is a major MO for the club, but they coulda done without it.

Hmm, if that's it, I dont like it. What does that blue stripe have to do with anything? If it's a Blizzard reference it's pretty weak.

You know you can only build tradition through consistency. Strong identities are stamped into our collective minds over time. A Nike swoosh or a Mark Rothko painting is a pretty odd thing until you see it over and over. Through years and generations it gains meaning and momentum and value and then becomes rich and then becomes culture and culture is our fabric. It is historical.
At only ten years our identity is still a delicate thing. Call it sharp if you think it's sharp, but just realize, if you play around with it too much, our identity will lose its' chance at richness and erode into novelty and kitch.
