Not necessarily.
Most songs/chants are started by the capos.
So why not get all the capos on the same page?
Even if a song starts in the stands, planned hand signals could help capos get multiple sections in on the song.
Besides, it's not like capos would get together and plan the setlist for the day.
We put our trust in them to choose songs and chants that are appropriate for the moment.
That said, I still think headsets would be a better option.
All I know is, we need to get people working together.
What would we rather have?
Three different songs being sung at the same time,
Or one song being sung in unison by people from 6 different sections?
Yeah, I didn't mean to plan it out. I mean't like when a chant starts somewhere to do a fist or other pre-arranged gesture to signify that particular chant and show it across to other capos so they know what's happening in whichever section instead of doing it by ear. Then it would be organized.

Sounds great, fellas. Hope it comes together someday. I'm saying from the inside it's not as easy as you make it.
If you want to learn more I'll gladly take it to PM's without pissing contests I promise.
Headsets (what we called "Madonna Mics") may get to be a thing someday, too.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
Look here bud.
We all know that forum posters are already better policemen, prime minsters, judges, architects, football managers, grass growers, amongst many other things. Did you think capo escaped that list? I didn't think so.
Don't you dare tell us by your own "experience", whatever that is, it's not as easy as we think. We already know! Pfft.
Oh internet, never change.

There are an amazing amount of actual experts on here - you just are the only one vaguely connected to the field.
FWIW, I'm on the definitely not friendly with Bell and Rogers network soon to become part of Shaw - I'm slightly surprised my service didn't get worse with the canopy.
This. The team I support in Japan has quite a few different supporters groups. all the capos communicate and its tight. They are there to support the team. having the roar of the chants behind the team really adds to the emotion in the game...not sporadic chants about the park. Being a supporter and singing with 40,000 others win or lose start to finish....nothing can compare to that feeling. I wish and have since day one that TFC supporters could replicate that.
All for one.
Bar the CNE games I never have issues with cell reception. I'm on Virgin which uses the Bell network iirc.
Does anyone know if the south parking lot is open for tonight's game? Lot 2. Last time I went it was closed and took me forever to get around to the other lot.
Thanks
Look at this beauty, all nice and sound. Now the real test will be the pitch with the first experiement on June 11.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
I don't believe so. And it didn't say "Lot Full" It's the easiest lot for me to get to and I'll be pushing it to get my butt in my seat by the anthems as is, so I want to make sure everything is copacetic or if I should just plan to park elsewhere. I'll call BMO later to see if I can get an answer. Normally I take the GO, but that isn't possible this time around, unfortunately.
Looks like a proper backdrop venue now.
Tbh a unified south end would be marvelous, headsets (maybe get FO to foot the bill loll) would be great. To have a feeling like the Timbers Army would be great ... But ours would be a bit more organic and free flowing .. Seen some videos and shit where it seems like it's kinda corporate-ish (idk how to explain it just felt a bit stagnant).
A south end all together visually and vocally is a dream I've always had and with how things are going and SGs looking strong numbers and participation wise I think as I've seen south end working together is doable with some ground work put in/continued
Just wondering because I can't remember right now, are there any permanent TFC " anything" in the stadium right now like pictures of players or the TFC crest or anything that says TFC in the stadium. The wall of fame in the west stand is gone for some odd reason so what is left in the stadium that tells the Argo fans that TFC plays there? Right now apart from the red seats you would never know this is TFC's home. I'm starting to wonder if this was done on purpose or something so that Argo fans and the future winter classic fans don't have to see anything TFC in the stadium.
There is the large TFC crest on the North East side of the stadium which faces Exhibition GO station. I'm pretty sure it is permanent.
I agree with Doucet3 though with the united South End. If you look at the Portland Timbers, that entire section is totally unified singing together. At BMO it just seems to me that the various supporter groups are extremely segregated and simply do not work together very well. That may because each one if different and has a different way of supporting the team, but I do think that of the 4 main ones (RPB, U-Sector, Inebriatti, and Kings in the North) we need to sing together as one. If you take a look at this video, the "Just Can't Get Enough" is awesome and while I know that achieving something like this is very hard to do, it would be great if we could get everyone singing the same song.
Maybe the presence of a casino would help liven atmosphere. Councillor Mark Grimes - who's a huge Argos fan - is apparently an expert on them:

The casino downtown idea is dead. Its Woodbine or nowhere.
