They did put it in a spot where the majority of fans can clearly see. Screens have always been a luxury in my opinion. The referee doesn't get a 2nd chance at making a game changing call. Too many people go to games and look at their phones the whole time any way.

Yes maybe it will protect the fans if there's no wind & the rain is falling perfectly vertical...

I didn't have a chance to watch the program. Hopefully I can see it somewhere eventually.

As you can see, there is quiet a significant amount of space from the concourse up to the roof in the south end. Totally set up for temporary seating to slide in on top. Grabbed these photos from the TFC video.

Looks byootiful. Amazing how much character some scaffolding and a roof can add to a stadium.

I hope SOMETHING is done about the north end. It will be an eyesore otherwise.

BMO from YTZ, the roof makes the stadium look so much bigger from distance.

When all is said and done, it will genuinely have the look of a traditional world class stadium. I'm sure the gaps under the roof and in the North End will be dealt with in due course.

We've come a hell of a long way since opening day in 2007.

MLSE has a good reputation for helping out TFC... Let's see what they could do for that gap on the south stand and north side patio.

it should of been Toronto vs Montreal....its just the big US market television contract they want so that is why they chose an original 6 American team rather then the original biggest rivalry in NHL's passed history of Habs vs Leafs!!
