Perquis playing for Poland is the equivalent of Goalberto playing for Brazil.

I don't believe Perquis has played for Poland since Euro 2012. At this stage there's only one real standout stud at CB for Poland and that's Glik. They've used a variety of other guys to partner with him, one of them being Szukala who was just last year playing in Saudi Arabia but now plays for a 2nd Division Turkish team. I wouldn't say he is any better than Perquis. Nonetheless highly unlikely that he's called up unless lots of guys get injured.
In all honesty I really do think Perquis will standout as one of the best defenders in the league this year. He had a harder time adjusting compared to others but he was in fine form right before he got injured. Pair him with 2 additional veteran MLS defenders and I'm very content with our backline.
God I'd hope that Perquis doesn't leave, I mean it's not like he's been amazing, but Kantari is not starting caliber at all and I'd hate for us to be left with only him
Also worth considering that we should really try to avoid any more upheaval in regards to our back line

Orlando looks to be joining the DP arms race. Apparently after Nocerino
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I can't stand transfer rumour talk on the official MLS website... Odd to me.
mlssoccer.com is a marketing, borderline propaganda tool for the league way before it's an official mouthpiece/resource. It is odd, but that's what it is. Some of the news that gets reported on there is eye-rolling stuff, but anything that has the slightest chance of drawing attention to the league or the US national team gets an article without hesitation.
The roller blading legend you guys speak of is a friend of mine.
And though I'm not sure if he goes on this board much, I'll let him know that his name is still whispered across the lands.
Rollins is tweeting that TFC couldn't agree to terms with Borjan and that he wouldn't be surprised if they have to backtrack by re-signing Konpoka
Rollins also just said that the Dan Gargan signing was made in a cab. is this true? If so that's amazing. That's a quintessential Dan Gargan story.
I don't believe Borgan was our only option. I have faith in this management team to find a quality keeper.
I think it was stupid in the first place to release Konpoka, I rather have a veteran backup fill in when needed than two very young and unproven keepers. Yes they have to be blended into the first team at some point but they have time on their side, TFC cannot afford to loose and just throw the young keepers in.
I don't see the point in bringing back Konpoka unless we just need a warm body. From what i have seen Q is already about the same as him and is supposed to be battling for the back up position this season.
