Players sent down

Nothing surprising here - Taintor is a 3rd round draft pick.
Taintor. Lol.
To me its either Babouli or Hamilton who stay up.
BTW, Larson tweeted out sometime this weekend that Simonin's rehab will take until May, speculating he might be permanently loaned to TFCII to free up a roster spot.
Are there any lists with the full group that's currently down in Orlando? Are the other two 2nd round draft picks still there (Madison and James)? With Taintor sent to TFC II, I guess that means he's essentially on trial there.
Not a player move, but the goalkeeper just put out a tweet and then retracted that we might be getting a new PR head at TFC.
One Jeff Bradley (Michael's uncle, Bob's brother - but that might have just got his resume looked at).
If you want to know the most about his life, read the post from November 15 on his blog. http://jeffbradleyblog.blogspot.ca/2...t-of-work.html
The guy is prolific, opinionated, respected as a journalist and has had a life and still living.
Again - this is a might.
There was this too from a few days ago

Bradley FC.
Are there any rules regarding who can be sent down to TFC II?
I say we send down Luke Moore. It gets his salary off the roster and then we can sign both Babouli and Endoh to the first team.

Article on the new free agency process. Includes some interesting tidbits about TFC stuff - like Moor did not receive the maximum salary increase from us.
Pretty sure that came out already^^
He took less money to come here because we offered more in other areas. We've been getting that sentiment from a lot of the new guys. We're pretty quickly becoming a destination team in the same way as LA.
Good job, FO.
Konopka, Hagglund, and Morgan went down to TFCII last year. Could be that you can send them down but they still count against cap.
EDIT: just checked the league salaries and Konopka and Hagglund were not in our top 20 salaries with their 60k deals. Morgan was in our top 20, but he is a Homegrown Player, so that doesn't count against cap either.

"All these little details that, for me, having been in the league 11 years now, I've seen all of them and in my opinion Toronto has the best to offer in terms of an overall club and organization experience," Moor said. "That's why I think free agency is so great for the league."
A very telling quote about how it seems to be going, behind the scene. If that's the perception among experienced MLS players, we MAY have to get used to the idea that MLSE knows what it's doing!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
i think a lot of that probably comes from us having two prominent members of the USMNT on the squad and happy here and the fact that we have an MVP like Seba here doesn't hurt either. Seems that if you can attract some big name DPs then your team becomes a destination for others. I read some guy on another message board complaining that all the good DPs only want to go to Toronto, Montreal, LA, or NY and his team wasn't able to attract any and are never in the mix for "big name" players. He was from Columbus.
Yes, but....its Columbus.
Of all the towns in this league, it has by far the least going for it. Like, unless you like small towns and want to live in one. The ONLY thing it has that might attract somebody is thousands of new women every year. (I've actually heard this mentioned)
It doesn't have mountains, its not warm and full of Spanish speakers like Texas, its not near Disney World, its not California, and its not cosmopolitan.
If I were to rank the 5 towns players would be least attracted to, I'd call
Columbus
KC
Philly
Washington
Boston
Add Atlanta and Minnesota to that list pretty soon. And probably St. Louis.
I would note that all those teams have issues attracting international name DP's.
Now, there are things about St. Louis and KC and Atlanta and Minnesota that attract people, as there is in Philly, DC and Boston. But, DP's arn't going to be attracted there without something extra being added.
As long as TFC has as good extras as the rest of the league, we will be a destination.
