I've stayed out of Kantari talk, becuase my opinion doesn't match the majority. I didn't hate Kantari at all.
Didn't thinl he was spectacular, but I thought he was strong when dealing with aerial threats. I would have had no problem if he was given a proper pre-season/ to get settled.
That being said, if he has to be moved to make room $$, I won't be shedding any tears.
Easy lads.
I'm pretty sure there's a way to find out if he's ever played on a Sunday or Easter Weekend.
It's interesting seeing responses in this fast paced thread. If there's a signing, there's somebody who doesn't like it.
Moor is old, had recent ACL surgery and I'll leave out his beliefs as having anything to do with his job for us.
Moor is a proven leader, captain with experience. It wasn't a calendar year ago some of us looked at our back line's age and hoped like hell they'd mature and gel as fast as possible.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
Does anyone recall what time round 2 of the re-entry draft is today?
I think Moor is a good signing because at this point I want some leadership experience on the back line and I think Moor brings that to the table. Sure he'll be 32 by the time the season starts but I say take the risk and roll the dice, I'm tired of half-assing the defense.
Totera is reporting Will Johnson to TFC.
Makes sense as i don't think Larson would put his name out like he did in his article today without knowing it was getting close.
Official list of players available in re-entry round 2: http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2015/1...re-entry-draft
Note that Beitashour is not there. He needed to be signed to a new contract by yesterday at 11am otherwise he would've been made available, so it basically confirms we've signed him but there just hasn't been an announcement yet.
Notice: No Bendik on that list either... I suspect a few trades may be announced league wide early this afternoon

Good call, I missed that. Bendik involved in a trade to the Timbers for Johnson?
Hall is the only GK target I see us going after, and I don't think there are many teams in the league looking for a starting keeper right now... we might actually pick him, but that's only if management has decided not to go with a foreign signing.

Good read on Moor:

As for GK. Expect a vet, but no one long term, the youngsters are not far off from taking over.
Few Christians, even from the Deep South follow that type of legalism these days, this isn't Edwardian Scotland (or 1950's Toronto for that matter). The Dallas Cowboys (a/k/a "God's team") of the NFL would be in serious trouble if they did!
What I hope from Moor is a solid defender, good character, and giving himself 100% on the field. He must be that kind of player because he was highly sought by several clubs, despite his high salary. As messed up as our FO has been in the past the current bunch are not stupid handing out contracts to toxic players willy-silly. Well, except for Defoe (but they learned from that).

Question for those who have seen these players play.
Who would you rather?
Alston (27) or Beita (28)?
Moor (31) or Schuler (28)?
goalie
morrow-perquis-moor-beitashour
johnson-cheyrou-bradley-osorio
giovinco-altidore
Is this accurate to you guys?
swap morrow and beitashour. :P
im sure we can get some value out of trading Morgan, unless hes now the go to bench player.
We also need to replace the utility of Jackson with someone cheaper
