Default TFC Supporters Pregame and March in Montreal next Sunday.

    Where: Pub McLeans
    When: 11AM - Sunday, October 25th, 2015

McLeans opens at 11 am on Sunday where we have all gathered in the past on Peel Street. We can all have our Pregame beers and grub before gathering in Dorchester Square, the park across the street to march up to Peel Subway station. For people who are looking to start earlier the Peel Pub right next door opens at 10 am.

The subway is located at the corner of Peel and Maisonneuve. It is recommended that you buy your subway fare before hand to avoid the bog down at the turnstiles that we have had in the past. While I am thinking a 2:30-3 pm March, I am sure Phil, Rob etc who have been in touch with the Impact FO can give us the ideal time.

Just wanted to to get this out there.

$3, but a $6 two fare pass to save time and lining up at the busy subway station.

I'm not sure you can even just put cash in the ticket booth and walk through in Montreal. Aren't you forced to buy a ticket first?

Yes you need to buy a ticket, but if you can buy it in advance, one year we all showed up at Peel and rammed it as they had to do something like 100 transactions, it took for ages and caused a big line.

Just checked the fares. Regular single fare is $3.25

The two trip fare is $6, so you save 50c. Obviously this is what most of us will get because we all want to get back to our hotels / bars instead of spending the night on Saputo's lawn.

There is an unlimited weekend pass (as Jazzy has pointed out) that is $13 so if you are taking the Metro 4 times or more it starts to pay for itself. Valid from 6pm Friday to 5am Monday.

My suggestion would be to ignore it if you aren't in a parade, have banners, or something. Last time I was there, all the families, etc., ended up corralled at that NE gate waiting, while all the supporters (and most who never got the message) just went through a regular entrance, with the Impact fans.

Anyone got any suggestions where to watch the first half of the Manchester derby in town? Game starts at 10:05, and with McLeans not opening till 11, that's the first half missed .

As a part of the Impact party at the Peel Pub, Budswieser is offering a ride to the game on a Double Decker Bus, would not be classic for a Red Invassion on it.

Wow, times change. Last time I took the Metro was to go to an Expos game in '83 (to see Pete Rose and Andrew Dawson) and it was fifty cents...
