    Default Impact v.s. Rochester 1-1

It was interesting watching this match on the weekend. Some observations:

    (1) The Impact have a strong defense, hard to score against.
    (2) the Impacts offense is terrible. There is no comparison with TFC. It was really lucky for them that they beat Vancouver twice, otherwise there is no way they would have hoisted the cup.
    (3) Our influence is growing. When the Impact were taking a corner-kick, their player was showered with black and gold streamers!
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Didn't somebody from Rochester speak to Jack or somebody else about streamers a few months ago? I thought then that they were trying to replicate the experience at BMO in their stadium.

The stadium is decent, there isn't much to it, but still not bad. I sat front row behind the players bench for a friendly against shiffield wednseday a few years ago. It probably would have been nice if they we're in MLS, a nice (close) rivalry with TFC. Now they can barely keep the team financially afloat.

For a USL club, that's a very nice stadium.

It looks like a mini - ugly version of BMO with a horrible pitch... what is that field hockey outlines? Saputo look 10x better.

saputo shoulda built its metal stands like that, so that they serve as a concourse underneath with concrete floors.
